So I went on the internet just now and wanted to look at some articles but this happened:

What the fuck? --nachlader 20:51, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

That's .com you enormous buffoon.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 20:53 Mar 19, 2011
Snrk. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 20:54, 19 March 2011
Well, maybe lots of people are logging onto .com. Shouldn't Uncyclopedia.com lead to the site, does wikia own the .com name? Aleister 20:56
I believe you mean .org. Unless I'm getting massively trolled in this forum here.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 20:57 Mar 19, 2011
No, look at the page Nachlader pulled up, it says .com. Somebody must still own the .com name, even if wikia owns them both, and what I'm suggesting is that it should link to uncy's main page as well. Aleister 22:22 19-3-'11
Yeah, but, I dunno if Wikia owns .com, or for that matter if original recipe Uncyclopedia ever did. I thought it was always .org.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 22:47 Mar 19, 2011
I'm about 90% sure Wikia doesn't own uncyclopedia.com, and nobody should be giving them any ideas. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 22:50, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
Can someone less lazy than me find out who owns it, and if nobody does, buy it immediately. Aleister 22:51
Hey, Godaddy owns it. And I don't have the money right now, so you buy it from them. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 22:54, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
Does Godaddy sell website names? I don't know what it is. And I won't buy it, which would be giving up my identity, but someone should if it's one of those website name companies. Some of the most obvious names are sometimes unowned. Aleister 23:00 19-3-'11
They do sell domain names, yes. Once a domain name has been bought, and expires, they hang onto it for a ridiculously long time and overcharge anyone who wants to buy it (average domain name should cost about $10, much more than that and you're getting ripped off).  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 23:05 Mar 19, 2011
And their commercials suck. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 23:08, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
Well, shouldn't one of the regulars here buy it? I won't, but someone should before someone from wikia reads this, and then we can all figure out what to do with it. And .com names of established things are worth the money as long as it's not really crazy costly. Aleister 23:45 19-3-'11
I'd like to hear from Carlb on this matter, but he seems to have disappeared off the face of both the Earth and his home planet, Mars. -- Hindleyite Converse?pedia 19:53, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

I really like that screenshot, the google searches are the sort of things I google every day. That said the choice of theme ruins it for me, I mean WTF? It's all colours and shit. --ChiefjusticePS3 18:10, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

Make a book easily publishable with the 50 best articles of uncyclopedia images and add, make it easily buyable and shippable with pay pall and raise the money to buy the site to redirect it to here. No!? --ShabiDOO 20:22, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

WTF?

This is very odd indeed. I though User:Carlb would own the domain name?! I want to know how someone else got the www.uncyclopedia.com domain name as well too, which is oddly not being used as a mirror site. I know we already have one. DJ Mixerr 03:32, March 26, 2011 (UTC) User:DJ Mixerr/sig

Seems that the .com address was purchased by GoDaddy last October according to this. Mister Victim (talk) 06:41, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you, Mister Victim. I was wondering when it was purchased. Good looking! DJ Mixerr 17:40, March 27, 2011 (UTC) User:DJ Mixerr/sig

Welp

Now we know what to do for our April Fool's reskin. User:Mrthejazz/sig 04:37, March 31, 2011 (UTC)

anyone feel like shooting off an e-mail to Mr. Manz and asking him nicely to consider selling us the domain at a modest price or at least redirecting it to our website? -- Prof. Olipro Icons-flag-gb.png KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur. (Harass) 11:45, March 31, 2011 (UTC)

Someone should before wikia gets hold of this, and the someone should be someone who won't sell it to wikia. Maybe David Manz is Gomphog! Aleister 11:49 31-3-'11
If no one objects, I'll send the email. --Wanna see a magic trick? 14:55, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
I could have sworn someone said they already did... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 16:31, 31 March 2011
Really? Well if not, I'll do it. --Wanna see a magic trick? 01:36, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I think it may have been Zombiebaron. You should ask. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 20:50, 2 April 2011
Okay. --Wanna see a magic trick? 20:55, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
Zombiebaron didn't send an email, so I am, right now. --Wanna see a magic trick? 21:51, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

I just sent the email

I said,

"Hello David Manz, I am a representative from Uncyclopedia.org.

Uncyclopedia.org is a Wikia owned humor wiki. We over at Uncyclopedia recently noticed that you own the Uncyclopedia.com domain name; we were wondering if you would consider selling us the Uncyclopedia domain name at a modest price or at least redirecting it to our website's main page. Our main page can be found here: http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page You can respond to this email address, or even drop me a line on my Uncyclopedia account here: http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Magic_man Thank you.

Respectfully,

Uncyclopedia user, Magic man, aka I said my name here, but none of you need to know what my name is." --Wanna see a magic trick? 22:31, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

Nothing about force-feeding him cuntymints? How will he know that we mean serious business?! MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 22:45, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
If he doesn't respond in two or three days I'll send him another email. I'll tell him we mean serious business then. --Wanna see a magic trick? 22:49, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I have a really bad feeling about this. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 23:07, 2 April 2011
What kind of bad feeling? Phycic preminition bad feeling, or "I just stubbed my toe" bad feeling? --Wanna see a magic trick? 23:19, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I wonder how much it will cost. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 23:30, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
Well now that we're on the subject, who is gonna buy it? Not me. --Wanna see a magic trick? 23:36, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
Maybe if he doesn't get back to you by Tuesday or so Dexter could call him up. It's probably Gomphog. And Magic Man, everyone knows your real name is Hairy Houdini. Al 23:38 2-4-'11
While we're on the subject of Gomphog, didn't he have a sock one time referring to that he had sockpuppets floating around the wiki; the title was something like "I, Gomphog, have seven socks that you will never find". I hope David "Manzerilla" Manz isn't Gomper. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 23:43, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I really hope it's not Gomphog, that would be creepy. Anyway, Lollipop, I bet I can guess your name. --Wanna see a magic trick? 23:51, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
I think i've said it around here before. Go ahead. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 00:13, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Your name is.................. Trevor MacPherson. I know, I know, I'm amazing, no need to tell me. --Wanna see a magic trick? 00:18, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
You know my name because I sent you an email. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 00:27, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Do you know my name? --Wanna see a magic trick? 00:30, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
You're smart enough to put "Magic man" for your email. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 00:32, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
*Grins* --Wanna see a magic trick? 00:33, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

Aleister already revealed mine above. --Wanna see a magic trick? 00:46, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
MacPherson is my last name, I just use Trevor as an alias. I ain't telling you my real name. --Care for a lick? Lollipop Care for a lick? - CONTRIBS - WRITINGS - SHOP - Now adopting! 00:58, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

So... May I ask what you did? --Wanna see a magic trick? 01:15, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

So, if the guy hasn't emailed MM by Tuesday, you want me to call him? I'm going to need community approval. Also, would I be trying to negotiate buying the domain from him or what? If he wants over $60, then I won't be able to personally afford it, nor is it worth buying for more than that price. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 01:39, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

Wait, are you saying you only have sixty dollars to your name? I only have fifteen dollars, but it's still weird... --Wanna see a magic trick? 01:43, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Oh! And yeah, that's pretty much what we're saying. --Wanna see a magic trick? 01:45, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
I have more than that, but I'm unwilling to spend more than that on .com domain that will simply serve a redirect to this site. But I want the approval from at least three admins and one crat before I take any action. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 01:48, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Okay. Zombiebaron told me I could send the email, and Olipro said someone should do it. So... Yeah... --Wanna see a magic trick? 01:52, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Go ahead. The one who owns the domain name can become admin for a month each year. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:40, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

This is weird.... Where in a huge storm in a teacup over a stupid little domain name? What??. - I'm not just another n00b...oh wait, I am. LOL vandalz 14:34, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, Dexter

You're up; the dude didn't write back. --Wanna see a magic trick? 18:06, April 5, 2011 (UTC)

Did you see Mhaille's links? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:34, 5 April 2011
No I didn't. DJ Mixerr 00:57, April 7, 2011 (UTC) User:DJ Mixerr/sig
I did. Really DJ Mixerr, what is wrong with you to not have looked at Mhaille's links? Sir SockySexy girls.jpg Mermaid with dolphin.jpg Tired Marilyn Monroe.jpg (talk) (stalk)Magnemite.gif Icons-flag-be.png GUN SotM UotM PMotM UotYPotM WotM 06:52, 7 April 2011
So from that I'm guessing I shouldn't call. Plus, some site said I shouldn't. Plus, I didn't get authorization from 3 admins and a crat. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 06:55, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
