I like the "This month we are launching ourselves" initiative. I am trying to drag some friends into writing too. Let's face it, with a bunch of new active writers, things suddenly seem very busy. A suggestion - maybe instead of the link leading to Forum:Move_status it could go to the Log In/Create an account page? It might even be nice to put a little welcome message on this screen, along the lines of:

Welcome to Uncyclopedia, the world's premier Wikipedia parody website! If you're interested in writing or editing articles with us, sign up below. If you're more of a reader than a writer, we have a Facebook page here and a Twitter page here.

What do you reckon?

A good idea for the link, although that page could link to the press release as well. If they are just readers they could come in and read the site articles, so maybe "more of a reader, please read our tens of thousands of fine articles (you will be tested when you finish). Very good idea.
