The iAristocrats by Meganew[edit | edit source]

An iCarly take on the classic joke. --High Gen. Meganew (Stuff I've Done) (Chat With Me) (Get an Award!) FORCES ENLIST MUN 03:41, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

  • Idea: What's iCarly? I mean... *shifty eyes* But seriously, this is so tame.
  • Humour: Pulling it all together helps...
  • Presentation: Now, really... linebreaks? Captions? Too much to ask? But the story itself is presented in such a rapid block. This happened this happened this happened this happened rarely works, and to tell the body of an actual story is a general no.
  • Other stuff: Drinking coffee out of his mug, eh?
  • Overall impression: Hmm...

Thanksgiving with the Aristocrats by Bucknut4[edit | edit source]

The Aristocrats eat Thanksgiving dinner.

  • Idea: Suitably atrocious. Rather impressive use of cake, too.
  • Humour: Falls somewhat flat, unfortunately. Perhaps it's just too straight forward...
  • Presentation: Lack of proper punctuation and linebreaking is downright confusing. Also, agh! Choppy sentences... blargle. Still, it seems to improve once it gets into the flow of the story.
  • Other stuff: Poor babysitter.
  • Overall impression: Story good, format bad. GraAAAW.

Carl: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Aristocrats by CheddarBBQ[edit | edit source]

Teh ballz.

  • Idea: Suitably deplorable, decent frame... nice.
  • Humour: The sheer calmness with which it is told does well to help present the joke.
  • Presentation: Grammar issues at the beginning annoyed me, but then the flow of the piece came and smoothed everything over... speakers could be clearer, though.
  • Other stuff: Not worrying is good.
  • Overall impression: Seems like a hallucination. But still...

Aristocrats and baby chicks by Mrthejazz[edit | edit source]

Hatchery of horrors! The download link is on the talkpage for those of you without flash.

  • Idea:
  • Humour:
  • Presentation: Presented as video; never really was a fan of that.
  • Other stuff:
  • Overall impression: No idea, as the file was apparently removed from the server.

World's Dirtiest Joke by Kip the Dip[edit | edit source]

100% original on my part.

  • Idea: Interesting.
  • Humour: Well, to be fair, he could be more horrified... still, nice non-sequiter.
  • Presentation: Short and sweet. Looks very nice, presents rather lovelily.
  • Other stuff: Wait, sporked from both?
  • Overall impression: Er...

Aristocrats Gone Wild by Zombiebaron[edit | edit source]

Hooray for boobies!

  • Idea: Well, that's lovely, and suitably inappropriate for pretty much anything but The Aristocrats... yes, very good.
  • Humour: Horribly tasteless and rather excellent captions to boot.
  • Presentation: Should I be worried about the ease with which the base images were found? At any rate, only thing really bothering me is where the captions are supposedly from - did they come with the images, are they summaries of what came with the images, what? Other than that, it's lovely.
Not sure why it has an actual link to a non-existent website, though.
  • Other stuff: I had to turn off the images because people were giving me weird looks... I guess in this case, that's a good thing? o_O
  • Overall impression: Decent piece, though the frame is a bit unclear.

Aristofuckers by Multiliteralist[edit | edit source]

Cocks are there to be sucked.

  • Idea: This isn't exactly clear... guess it sums up the Aristocrats pretty well, without ever actually saying anything about it.
  • Humour: Okay, now this is funny. Absolutely no elegance about it, and that actually makes even more so, somehow.
  • Presentation: Very short, very messy, and shouldn't THE END at least be a separate word? Meh...
  • Other stuff: Wow, this... sucks. Except...
  • Overall impression: Huh.

The Aristocrats Strike Back by Madclaw[edit | edit source]

Darthipedia's official entry, with special thanks to Wookieepedia. Madclaw @ talk 13:44, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • Idea: Well, certainly lovely enough to be Aristocrats. Could probably have taken matters even further, of course, but no matter. The playing off the horror of the holiday special was a nice touch as well.
  • Humour: Irony, villainy, general disgustingness are the main features here, but they do serve to put forth some amusement.
  • Presentation: Nice block of text. Really makes me want to read it, and the punctuation doesn't help matters... but, okay.
  • Other stuff: Darth Vader has a penis?
  • Overall impression: Not bad, though presentation kind of kills it.

  • Idea: Very Aristocratsy. Disturbing, disgusting, and downright vile... rather impressive.
  • Humour: Twists well on expectations, at least. Their responses to things are quite unusual, but a lot of it just seems forced. Got downright confusing, some places, but others the sheer creativity starts to make up for it. I rather liked the bit with the mosque, and does end nicely.
  • Presentation: Hmm, so... I hate to say it, but for a narrative, the flow is rather bad. Different speakers without new lines doesn't help matters, and it also goes from one thing straight to the next too quickly and just comes across flat... frankly, after watching A Serbian Film, this is just disappointing.
ToC just gets in the way, really.
Somehow, I don't think proofread this. Redundant he said type things, missing words, etc.
Nice pictures, though.
  • Other stuff: Fred's daughter sure can eat a lot...
  • Overall impression: Just strange... not all that funny, at least at first, but it is fairly consistently disturbing. Overall, gets better as it goes, at least.

A Day No Aristocrats Would Die by Striker2117[edit | edit source]

A joke within a joke within a joke... or not... --Sirrah CatshirE Chess the Striker2117 07:37, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

  • Idea: Convoluted horror. Some bits less interesting than others, others less horrific than others, but the end twist was simply stunning. Literally.
  • Humour: The twists worked well. Some of the reactions were a little odd, and the lead-up and background seemed somewhat needless, for the impact it had on the main part.
  • Presentation: Very nice, layered frame stories. Could get confusing, but the formatting helped with that some... hindered some other places. Probably could have used a proofreading. On the plus side, you actually used linebreaking properly, unlike pretty much everyone else in the bloody category... bloody hell.
  • Other stuff: Hmm...
  • Overall impression: Not bad.

The Aristo-Pod Children by Jaykwon[edit | edit source]

  • Idea: Something about Pod Children... frankly, it killed my brain.
  • Humour: Well, the Alternative Conflict Resolution has some aristocratsy stuff. Could qualify as amusing in that it's random in context.
  • Presentation: The overall presentation of this made me simply not want to read it. That is never a good sign... So why is the speaker addressing the reader directly? For that matter, who, even, is it? And the wikitext looks to have perhaps been messed up, a mite... and grammar has issues. Overall, it is just hard to read. Jumpy, colloquial, and disordered, not even sure what the main point or joke is.
  • Other stuff: Ow.
  • Overall impression: It killed my brain.

  • Idea: Beards! Excellent.
  • Humour: It works, but it's so serious. Could mock the folks better.
  • Presentation: Mmm, short and sweet. Using only the links to say what it means is dangerous, however... since they're the only links, it helps, at least.
Bit of a jump from the oppression back to the talent agency; could use a better transition.
  • Other stuff: A spectre?
  • Overall impression: Decent, well-written piece. Rather short, but that doesn't seem to be an issue here.

The Aristocraigslist by Electrified mocha chinchilla[edit | edit source]

It is NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests. --EMC [TALK] 03:57 Dec 3 2010

  • Idea: Well, now. Turning the horrendousness into a craigslist, what an interesting idea...
  • Humour: The juxtaposition of the Aristocrats as the horror that it apparently is with what is so commonly accepted as normalcy works pretty well, I'd say. Decent twists and mentions, too.
  • Presentation: Turning text things into images is never a good idea, especially from a monitor that wide... admittedly, mine's wider, but still; it would have probably worked better to emulate the craigslist style in wikitext. Was this actually made as a craigslist thing, though? Certainly looks the part, and would be damned funny if it was, not that it would have much bearing on the actual effectiveness of the piece.
  • Other stuff: I don't even want to know what some of those things mentioned are...
  • Overall impression: Aristocratsy and believable. It more than works.
