Change happens guys... that's the wonder of the modern world. One of the changes that's happened is that you can now watch blog listings and, if your preferences are set for email, get a notification when there is a new blog post. With so many wikis to look after, I just don't have time to individually update them with new info the way I used to (much as Uncyclopedia is still my favourite wiki of course!). So I strongly suggest you, or at least some of you, follow the staff blog at w:c:community:Blog:Wikia_Staff_Blog. Some of what's said there is Monaco specific, but it will help you keep up to date with general updates too. -- sannse (talk) 01:19, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

No offense to you personally sannse, as I know you're just trying to help, and it's your job to tell us this. But I fail to see how simply knowing about changes in advance is going to make them any better overall. If we dislike a feature, an organized discussion about how to compromise to make both sides happy is what should be done in a community such as this. Saying "I'm sorry you don't like it, but if you'd read the blog, you would have known" doesn't make me like the screwy login screen anymore than I would have. Now, that being said, I'm pretty appalled at some of the forms of protest individual Uncyclopedians have used in the past, claiming to be acting on behalf of the entire community, and so I'm sure that sort of stuff doesn't put us in great standing when it comes to constructive discussion. All the same though, it's hardly a service to us just to keep us informed about changes that are going to happen whether we like it or not, and whether we read the blog or not. Not saying that the blog itself is a bad thing (I don't like them that much, but to each their own), but I don't think it really fixes the particular issues we're dealing with here. -RAHB 04:02, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

We absolutely do listen to feedback RAHB. Every reply on the blogs is read and taken in to account. But we also listen to the silent majority and look at other data to decide what to do for the site as a whole. It's about trying to get a balance between all those on Wikia, not just those that shout loudest (that's you, Uncyclopedia).

That said, yes.. the login is buggy, and shouldn't be. It was a complex project and it still needs work. More fixes are heading your way soon -- sannse (talk) 02:16, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
