In a sense, I was but now, once again, I am not. I got over being annoyed with VFD and was getting back to doing things but then I quit my job and went on a real vacation. I am currently on Cape Cod, living a mostly technology free life (blog and web comic withdrawl was a bitch) for the summer. The only reason I noticed this and am responding is because I figured that I should use a public machine to check for any messages here (like yours). I don't expect that I'll be around or active much until late August, at which point I will be in school and likely have plenty of stuff that Uncyclopedia can help me ignore and put off. --Sir gwax (talk) 16:43, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

I desperately need your help!

Gwax, I know that this is really short notice, but I desperately need your help! Could you please please PLEASE PLEASE photoshop a picture for me by 10:00pm tonight, eastern time? I need a picture of a tub of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, preferably with a court room in the background, with the tub of ICBINB photoshopped so it's a tub of "I Can't Believe It's Not Legal", with the muffin on it replaced with a gavel or something. The size should be, in pixels, 640w, 480h. If you do this for me, I will be in eternal gratitude to you. Thank you so SO much!!!!

I would but for one problem, I won't have access to a computer with Photoshop or, really, anything more than a web browser for three or four weeks. It means that I'm trying to be back and I'll be around as much as I can finagle time around law school. The work load seems to be rather heavy but it also seems like it'll be enough to make me really want to have something good to help me ignore work, which Uncyclopedia does quite well. Zodiac

Well dern. It says not to post here but I'm lost. Help. What I need is to get in touch with Gwax, you see he helps me with stuff. Sometimes stuffing, and even known to help with shipping and handling on Aliens. I need to know how to insert a menu for my latest project of zodiac signs. The little box thingy that looks pretty and is useful to some degree beyond an itch. You know, there are 12 of the zodiac bleeping buggers and I won't be able to finish this project overnight. What you want is something along the lines of the following:

Timestamping with my personal sig

Click the preferences link in your top right corner and then in the Nickname box, put "{{SUBST:User:Soul101/sig}}" without the quotes. Save your preferences and from then on the four tildes thing should work right. --Sir gwax (talk) 14:09, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

In that case, you should make that known. Generally, when striking out one's own vote, one adds a comment on the next line noting that they have changed their mind and retracted their vote. By so doing, you prevent someone from coming along, reading the comment by someone else and assuming that the someone else invalidated the vote. I won't remove the strikethrough again but in the future, if you retract a vote, please note that you've done so, so that I can see what's going on at first glance. --Sir gwax (talk) 16:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Sig Policy

I'm rather certain that we set down the 12px rule when images first started appearing in signatures and, really, at the beginning of the fancy signatures revolution. I know that it is 12px because I made the image in my sig the maximum size that I could and because fonts default to 12px and the point is to prevent the image from screwing with line spacing. --Sir gwax (talk) 20:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
