So I am back from sabbatical and trying to make myself useful around here again. Seems like tags have once again emerged as an issue. I was wondering if you had thoughts on the proposed changes I suggested for the tags, and also any ideas as to what might be expendable in the name of reducing the number of tags out there and having tag simplification. Also, I wonder, should we have non-admins doing NRV tagging. If we have the man power maybe we should leave it to trusted users only. I'd appreciate your thoughts individually, as opposed to the madhouse the forum can become. Also, I am currently online on IRC in #@uncyclopedia. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 23:29, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Tomssss, I need some feedback on my first major edit (an addition). See India, under 'History,' starting from, 'For non C speaking readers' TO 'The Europeans saw India and decided they wanted it.' How would you rate this on a scale of 1 to 10 for funniness. Wow, that was alot more then I was expecting to read, but that's not really a bad thing. Anyway, I thought it was really good, your writing was smart (big words), but still managed to remain understandable and hunorous. In each pragraph there was at least one line that really made me laugh, and that's a good thing, because you don't want anyone getting bored while reading an article that's supposed to be funny. I only have two recommendations, 1) Less Bush. I enjoy political humor myself, but unfortunately it's become quite cliche here at uncyc, and 2) Use the "Show Preview" button. Technically speaking theres nothing wrong with 28 edits to a single page in a single day, but we have the button for a reason =]. yeah, i agree. i deleted the text in the 'kafka' pic. exactly for that reason (in my re-edit). but it's no big deal - the page looks cool the way it is now. i'd like to add a wax mannequin of kafka to it (it's a real scary image man) once i learn how to upload pics into unclepedia's image server. but then i don't how many would recognize the image as that of the silent artist? what do you think? maybe i'm on a tangent here and it won't work. well, here it is:

Yeah, that's great. TO upload an image, all you have to do is save the image, and then go to Special:Upload and select the file from your own documents. This is wierd, the Mary Celeste article I just created doesn't appear when I search for it. Or for 'mary' etc. Any ideas? Also, in my second quote, I wanted to link to the Titanic article and reference Capt. Smith, but in order to do both, the [[ ]] appear around the whole phrase. Can these be made to disappear? That article does appear when I search for its full name of "Mary Celeste". I added a link to it from the disambiguation page Mary so that it will be easier to find. You probably clicked on "Search" instead of "Go", which searches for the same capitalization that you type. The first letter is automatically capitalized, so that wasn't the problem. I made Mary celeste redirect to it so that you can find that page without typing capital letters. --Sbluen 21:36, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, it wasn't marked with an NRV because it has substantial length, it wasn't marked with deadend because it has an image, and I think that counts as a link. Overall, the article isn't that great, and would probably have a pretty good chance of getting deleted if listed on VFD.
