At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Tompkins/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

You didn't like | ^to_mp^ki_ns | as an alternative to | | ? Oh well, so be it. I did just notice that you've made the image redirect to your user page, that's a bit of a clever kludge if you ask me and it does add a wee bit of overhead, but it's only me being opinionated and mildly annoyed at a bunch of people, so go for it. --Sir gwax (talk) 02:22, 3 Jan 2006 (UTC)

sorry put it on your page first...im bad about stuff like that.. anyway, I actually like what you did and was trying to get my signature to link to my page for along time. The only thing that i don't like about the one you created is the fact that the letters are so close together. Other than that it wasnt bad. It might be possible to make the text smaller, but when I tried to, it overrode the font-weight attribute which made it look horrid. If I were you, I'd poke at it in preview a bunch and see if you can tweak it to be more exactly what you want. CSS is pretty simple stuff and there's information about how to use it all over the internet. VFP votes

Nobody hates you about the VFP pictures. We are extremely harsh on that page because we only want the best of the best. Really good pictures get torn apart on that page all the time. The feedback is almost 100% negative there. It's a really tough place to learn how to photoshop.  :) Just letting you know that votes aren't personal on that page. None of the noobs nominated so far get even close to the level of MoneySign or Suresh. The one nominated by Some User has a single fully written article. The one nominated by you have about five, and according to my partial research none of them is feature worthy. • R - Sorry to butt in here (of all places), but in addition to Theocracy, Mahroww's first article here (started prior to registration) is/was Condoleezza Rice Patty, and he almost completely rewrote Polar bear, I believe. You're right though, to some extent - he's much more of an image person than a writer. But IMHO we actually need more imagers than writers these days, especially if they're willing to do stuff for other users' articles, like Mahroww is. --Some user 20:26, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
