I'd like to start one of those week-long events, that go for a week (or two), in which we make/modify/steal images for articles which need them. We could do that, or chop up Kippy into tiny pieces, for an entire week. -- Mitch 10:15, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Improved Body Image

For - I like the idea; i've come across quite a few articles that are lacking images or have images that are just shite. We've saved poor articles, deleted the crap ones so lets go about improving what we've got eh? (Bonner) (Talk) Oct 5, 10:19

Yes, I just completely made my own, almost completely unrelated header. Dig it. Anyways, maybe we could have a week for all of the maintenance tags? This one is kinda for {{AAP}}, we've done one for rewrites, maybe we could do one for Deadends, or any other maintenance categories we have lying around that everyone ignores. Suggestion

I think that this process should become an annual event. We had the Conservation Week a while back, we just finished Vigilance Week, and if this passes we're gonna have another week-long improvement project. So, instead of just doing this now and maybe sometime in the future bringing the subject back up, we should make this an annual event. If we do this September or October could be made International Uncyclopedia Improvement Month (or whatever name we decide on). We could add two other week-long projects (like this one and the tag cleanup that Led suggested) and hold them every year for the entire month. We could start with Conservation Week to fix the articles we have, move on to whatever-it-is-we-happen-to-name-the-image-week to help along those articles as well as any existing articles that just happen to need more pictures, go to Vigilance Week to give the users a break from creating and go out destroying, and then wind down by cleaning up any stray tags or categories on articles that we haven't already touched. Yeah, I would've liked to do a few more rewrites myself, but school was kinda weighing me down(and it's gotten worse since). Still, adding pictures I steal from google to pages with the AAP template doesn't take too long. Just today I did it with Golden Sun, and about a week ago I did it for Golden Sun:The Lost Age(which I had ironically tagged AAP in the first place with one of my first logged- in edits). Still not sure about fixing a date for a destroying week before we see if we need it.
