News Corp? Well, maybe if you think Rachel Marsden is a fox for some unknown reason. Otherwise, why not stick to the facts: uncyclopedia.org was sold out by Chronarion, one of its founders, in 2006. Follow the money through front company Wikia Inc. and the new principal owners would appear to be not Rupert Murdoch's News Corp but online book merchant Amazon.com. So why would bookseller Amazon want to merge with Web 2.0 encyclopædia publisher Uncyclopedia? Certainly there must be some business reason, some obvious synergy which would justify Amazon making some portion of its own staff redundant in order to finance a highly-leveraged acquisition of Uncyclopedia. The 1st would be as good as any to unveil these plans on uncyclopedia.org; likely they are to involve cutting Amazon's costs by no longer stocking books, substituting instead UnBooks as their entire product line. The Amazon Wishlist marketing approached is also likely to be relaunched, integrated with Uncyclopedia's Special:Watchlist product. I'm sure there are bound to be other changes to the Amazon product line and marketing approach; after all, why else would Amazon.com, Inc., (Nasdaq: AMZN), a Fortune 500 company based in Seattle, have spent millions to pursue a merger with Uncyclopedia?

Idea: Announce a merge with ED
One idea is to add some kind of announcement on the front page that Uncyclopedia has merged with Encyclopedia Dramatica (or that they've bought uncyclopedia or something similar). Rename the thing uncyclopedia dramatica, change the logo to something fitting (like their lolz-turtle holding a potato), change "Today's featured article" to "article of the now" to match ED and write everything in ED style using words such as lulz, faggotry, butthurt etc. nxsty 18:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Otakupedia
As has long been noted, the English-language Uncyclopedia project is in a state of stagnation, and has largely stopped growing either in pagecount or in readership. Much of this has been blamed on increased foreign competition; Japan has already decimated US-based camera, electronic and automotive industries and it was inevitable that Uncyclopedia would become the next casualty if something were not done, and soon. As such, Uncyclopedia's stockholders have convinced the Board of Directors to terminate all of the current administrators and relaunch the product in a more competitive format.
The root passwords and keys to the Uncyclopedia server rooms will be turned over to ja:user:Kasuga, father of Wikipedia's Wikipe-tan and administrator of アンサイクロペディア, the largest non-English Uncyclopedia. The existing data and image base will be removed and replaced with animé and manga. All of the new administrators will be Japanese schoolgirls with large round cartoon eyes and pretty Japanese smiles. The userlist will read as a list of individual Pokémon and Yugioh characters, while Uncyclopedia's largely-obsolescent site robots will be replaced by Japanese robots from Toyota assembly lines.
