Well, the fun here is not to win or take anything as a competition, and that is good for the whole site! In the end, the fun is to, well have fun writing! I read the first few paragraphs of your article and it is pretty good! The people who take everything seriously here often leave enraged lol. On your UnNews? It's not allowed to give tips before the end of the competition :P As for the rest, just write what you want, buddy! You can also vote for articles on VFH after reading them, that's always appreciated. I always start articles in my userspace until they are ready (sometimes it takes months!). Just type this in the search box: User:C₂H₆O/title you want for the article. When you are through, you can move it to mainspace with the "move" button atop the screen. Or just ask me if you don't get it, I'm always happy to help! Remember that quality is always better than quantity, take it cool and have fun! Oh, it is because you are new that you can't edit VFD. I think it takes 3 days or something like that and you'll be fine. I don't think Please delete this page should be deleted though, only on the grounds that some years ago, a bunch of weirdos decided it should grace the front page. I moved World War II to World War II: The movie, so we can have a fresh start. I think we should forget the "movie" concept and go at it, based on facts (you're gonna be better than me there). Do you think we should keep the enormous template, actually rewriting it with the funnies? Also, expect me to go at a snail pace on that one: no hurry! I sometimes take months to write articles! Okay. I'll start work on it over the next few days and try and create a skeleton that can be fleshed out. A semi-factual approach, like I did with Salvador Dalí, is probably the best approach, and then funny can be worked around it. I read HowTo:Be absurdly funny and not just a content freak the other day as well, and although this isn't canon, does give me a good idea as to what would work better in this article and what wouldn't. That means there has to be more of an emphasis on making laughs than accuracy, but we have to steer away from the randomness as well. It's a big project. --C₂H₆O (hic) 12:40, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I agree! You should start it in your userspace, I will help for sure! I always like to say I won't do much not to put much presure on my shoulders, and next thing you know I'm all over it! So what do you think about the template? I can't design templates, and this one seems pretty complete (once we purge it that is) Gotta go for a couple of hours, but I'll start documenting myself a bit on the grandes lignes of WW2 on Wikipedia later today and hopefully start spraying the page tonight. It is a good idea, but in the current article I feel it's just too big and too much in a big blocky lump to be aesthetically pleasing. Maybe we can break it down a little. Hello. My note on your WotM entry means no disrespect to you. Hell, you might justifiably win WotM for Salvadore Dali alone. I just know that many many users have won Noob of the Month and showed amazing promise, and then one day you they vanished and you never heard from them again. I see WotM as a very nice award in the satire niche not only here but on the entire innernests. It is really a badge of honor, in the satirical world. I see you have a cold - flood your body with water and that should take away or ease most symptoms (sore throat, aching muscles, stuffed head - heh heh - and other symptoms of a cold are just symptoms of dehydration as the body asks you for "more water please".
