- Gale5050, I was literally shaking my head with my face in my palm when I read this. Look, you're welcome to vote for or against any article for any reason. You're also welcome to count the words in an article and call it too short for VFH even though you voted for an article that was even shorter. But you don't need to give us a big bold disclaimer about the username template. We all get the joke. I hope one day you will realize how unnecessary everything you do is. - Number of current VFH is irrelevant. The more the better. Some years ago we used to feature a new article every day. If you have issues with the featuring system (you're the first person I've heard complain in 10 years) then start up a forum on it and propose something different. - Because we're not trying to improve the articles. What I'm proposing is that we as a community, find issues, instead of voting on it. This way, we can improve question VFH articles. We should also have a good article equivalent. Gale5050 complain about me! 23:38, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- Gale the process is through votes. What is considered a feature worthy article depends on your fellow users, their own personal tastes and the relative quality of other articles. Try not to take it so hard when a nomination doesn't pass. I've had many failed nominations. Even the famed Aleister and our prolific Leverage have had failed nominations. Getting constructive criticism is a rarity in the real world of writing. Try to have fun here, work hard on your articles and when you do give constructive feed back try to be very specific and actually help people. "I don't get it" or "it needs work" doesn't help anyone improve their articles. Also...take something from the good ones. This article here is superbly crafted and hilarious. - I'll say this, imagine you were a casual reader on Uncyclopedia. And you were seeing the main page. And you say this. Would you laugh? Most people would be confused.
