Article: Mappy

Score: -5 mappies

For: 1
  1. Symbol for vote.svg For. "Mappy" is a hilariously absurd and satirical take on the iconic 1983 arcade game, where players control a police mouse on a mission to recover stolen cheese from a gang of lazy cats. This article brilliantly blends nostalgic gaming references with ridiculous humor, creating an engaging, over-the-top narrative that embraces the nonsensical spirit of Uncyclopedia. From its infinite bouncing mechanics to the absurd "Meow Mafia," Mappy is a delightful ride through chaos and whimsy, guaranteed to leave readers laughing. With a bold color scheme, witty writing, and a fitting tribute to gaming oddities, this piece is a true Uncyclopedia classic. Gabri growl sniff 05:16, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

  1. Symbol declined.svg Against. Bro, quit nominating your own articles. Also your reasons look like they were AI generated. The article itself isn’t bad at all, but I wouldn’t call it VFH-worthy… Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ OPOSSUMSIG.gif (addicted) 14:53, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
  2. Symbol declined.svg Against. yea, OPOSSUM's right. There's nothing wrong with nominating your own articles, but Panther, you're still an amateur anfd you still have to hone your craft. You can't expect your first articles to be featured already, plus if you put every single article you create on VFH it might get a little annoying. Also, I really wish you don't delete this against votes like last time; you seem a nice fellow and don't want for you to get banned again only three days after you came back... 3. Symbol declined.svg Against. Panther, I'm going to ask bluntly: Do you use AI to write your articles? All the articles you've made have the style that AI uses, UnBooks:American Government for example. Also, like OPOSSUM said, your reason looks like it was generated by an AI. I wouldn't reccomend using AI to write Uncyclopedia articles because, well, AI is bad at making jokes and being humorous.  Fenris2010 the moccasin-wearing Grue You hear growling... 17:51, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
  4. Symbol declined.svg Against. I'm not familiar with the type of text an AI would write, but this does seem like an article that someone like Spike would've written (which, by the way, isn't exactly what i'd consider a compliment). Alula.gifAlula.gif 18:26, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
  5. Symbol kill vote.svg Kill. Reasons stated by the others above. Badmotherfuckersmaller.png Bad Motherfucker GET FUCKED! Badmotherfuckersmaller.png 12:42, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

I don’t think Panther uses AI to write his actual articles, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mappy article actually WAS written by AI, considering its deviation from Panther’s usual style. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ OPOSSUMSIG.gif (addicted) 17:53, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

That makes me ponder, Uncyclopedia doesn't have any policies regarding AI yet, and it probably should have be to avoid some user coming here and intoxicating Uncyclopedia with a lot of AI slop... (thankfully, so far we haven't gotten any, and tbf since not that many people know of this site I doubt there are lots of probabilities that would happen; but it's better to be safe than sorry). Ah, Fenris2010, you should know that Panther got banned for deleting the votes against. Again. I hope the guy stops soon. DaniPine3 (talk) 17:57, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

We don't, but we could probably add a sentence somewhere in the guidelines that says something about it. Alula.gifAlula.gif 18:22, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
There's some exceptions. For example, on ChatGPT, the joke of the article is that it's AI-generated. Willy on Wheels, The Fuerdai Vandal. (Babbling ~ Recent ramblings) 15:25, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
