Hi[edit | edit source]

Don't know whether you noticed, but nobody really uses that UnTunes request page much anymore. In fact it seems the last time it was used was like, three years ago. Somebody might come along and give it a shot but I'm pretty sure that most people aren't even aware it exists anymore. Might be better off posting a forum topic about it or asking on IRC or something. -RAHB 02:46, October 8, 2012 (UTC)

VFH[edit | edit source]

Hi Kamek. When nominating an article for VFH, can you make sure register your vote correctly? If you go the edit button, you can fix it yourself. I had to repair a couple of your votes recently. Another thing, when nominating an article, it is a good idea to check it as well. Make sure there are no obvious mistakes and cut out the red links if you can. Thanks. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:13, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

That goes for voting against too. I checked the logs. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:25, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Apology[edit | edit source]

Hi Kamek, sorry for that little outburst of: "I think he's a troll." No hard feelings I guess. --Reallybloodymental (talk) 10:37, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

(Note: this is a public apology that has been signed for.)

Thanks for outing yourself RBM on that one. I was about to set the bloodhounds on the anon poster. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:21, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I think you are a troll too. That is, your daily tendency to nominate for honors any mediocre article you stumble upon is wasting people's time for no evident goal other than to draw attention to yourself. Your nominations are all attracting more Against votes than For and you'll notice that your latest was promptly closed out by an Admin. I am not an Admin but am fond of an old one, who's no longer here, who would have given you one warning to "go write a funny article" and then wielded the ban-stick. Spıke ¬ 11:37 19-Oct-12

Zombiebaron told me to nominate articles. Trolling? I just think a lot of them are funny. Don't be an ass. --General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 11:39, October 19, 2012 (UTC)
Can we close this 'troll talk' down? Yes indeed, the current holder of the 'Left the tent and never came back award' - Mordillo - would have said that line. What has happened to him? --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:41, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, I thought you were a troll, then I decided you were not a troll. The reason for this is that your name is extra unwieldy, and one of your own topics was quite in the rough, (The one about Sam's law).

You can do the same. You can find it in your heart to forgive me. I am not a troll and personally I believe I appear less like a troll than you. You have appeared on this site claiming you were a moderator on another site (I think you claimed that anyway). Now when I apologize you just say: "I sucked up to a moderator and I'm gonna make a public fool of you by proclaiming that your topics suck because my word outweighs yours."

":Zombiebaron told me to nominate articles. Trolling? I just think a lot of them are funny. Don't be an ass."

No, goodness me. Now there is an example of twisting words around. I said don't be an ass because you offered no explanation as to why you down voted my nomination. I wouldn't have said it so strongly if I thought you weren't a troll.

Now, I understand you have an ego, but I have one too. I would prefer it if the people who run this place could confess to me that my contributions are bad, but I see no evidence of them thinking that. I see more evidence of them disliking your contributions. I personally don't think much of your humor and I think I am right and that others will agree. For an upstanding person, or someone who knows someone important, you come across as quickly dismissive, fatally unproductive, and egocentric. You should have just accepted my apology and left it at that.

Also, my other nomination has received plus votes. Why on Earth would I add nominations just to draw attention to myself? Listen, we're both accusing each other of things, so let's just stop now. Okay? --Reallybloodymental (talk) 19:04, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

I never said I didn't accept your apology, and that was meant to Spike. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And I was mad the other day when the Yankees lost the ALCS so that's why I said "Gayer than Christmas". I am not a troll, nor do I try to appear to be. I hate trolls. I'm sorry for whatever I did wrong. Can everybody just please forgive me? I realize I nominate a lot of articles and I never compared a moderator to you. --General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 19:33, October 19, 2012 (UTC)
I have been asked to let this go and will now Unwatch changes to this page, but if you have more for me you may come to my page. But please, Reallybloodymental, read talk pages carefully, including the signature and understand who is talking to whom; also, everyone, realize that in computer writing there is no tone-of-voice or facial expressions and it is easy to assume the worst. Also, "go write a funny article." I've already done one before noon: UnNews:Regulators seek to make air travel deadlier. Bye for now. Spıke ¬ 19:47 19-Oct-12

--Reallybloodymental (talk) 21:28, October 19, 2012 (UTC)Okay I f#### up there. Honestly The general has an amusing name (could be considered trolling). Also his contribution about Sam's law was a bit over the top, so I didn't like the humor there, although some bits of it were funny. Fatally unproductive as in loads and loads of text, like a wall of text and ... well it was just too much that page. Kinda quant-titty over quality.

Anyway it isn't really my place to judge other people's work. I'm a noob, my work might suck too. Like how I rather enjoyed the limbo article. Makes me think... mmmm maybe my judgement IS impaired, also like how I misread this talk page. Sorry Spike and General for mixing you both into one super evil person.

Your work doesn't suck. It's great. Mine doesn't suck and your's doesn't suck. Nobody's sucks. Its either great, just non front page material, or unfinished. I, myself will stop with the excessive nominating, I just like to see people's opinions and the such. Thanks.--General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 22:32, October 19, 2012 (UTC)
Cheers, Kamek, and I should not have assigned you ulterior motives. "Unfinished" is the key and it got annoying to keep seeing nominations with red-links and raw lists that should have been cleaned up before nominating. Regarding exchanging opinions: (1) the site has indeed really dried up in the last few months; (2) Village Dump is the place to exchange opinions, its BHOP sub-section is the place for opinions on topics that just barely affect this site, and opinions on topics that have nothing to do with Uncyclopedia probably shouldn't be here at all. UN:VFD is where I can usually be found but it's dry too. Bloody, any voting forum is a request for your opinion. Some writing sucks. But the problem with saying it that way is that it is not instructive. Always say exactly what you don't like and be prepared to withdraw a blocking vote if the author corrects the problem. Also: There was a night at rec volleyball where someone was being a dick, bossing around the girls and such. I was about to get on my soapbox and tell the world how much I was against it. Instead I took him aside and explained what he was doing and how it looked, and I got instant results. That changed me forever. Might work here. Now, goodbye again. Spıke ¬ 22:57 19-Oct-12

Damnit, didn't get chance to nominate FOR your statistics article. I think it was just way over their heads. LOLZ. Dey Big Dummiez.--Reallybloodymental (talk) 15:18, October 25, 2012 (UTC)

Kansas City Royals Article[edit | edit source]

I had the page moved from Kansas City Royals to User:Sawblade5/Kansas City Royals due to the article being VFD. Unless you want to change it and improve upon it much I prefer to keep it archived in my userspace otherwise it will end up being VFDed again. Anyway the article is kinda outdated since the team has been working to improve from the images I made the article into. They just keep on getting into hard luck. The VFD the version I had moved to my userspace is here: Uncyclopedia:Votes_for_deletion/archive215#Kansas_City_Royals The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sawblade5 (talk • contribs) 22:31, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hey man it's a great article. I will edit more on it. I doubt it will get VFD'ed again. Thanks.--General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 22:33, November 2, 2012 (UTC)
I copy-edited the intro and the first section (existing material, cuter words). The rest of it does need work, it's mostly lists and it's more cut-downs than clever, but it contains some good material to rework. Am not promising anything, as I know nothing about the subject. Spıke ¬ 16:52 3-Nov-12
I'll work on it throughout November and December. There's no need for it right now to go to a user-space, if you're wondering, Sawblade.--General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 17:19, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Your signature[edit | edit source]

Would you mind shortening it, or having it abbreviated in some way? It's quite annoying for users with mobile platforms on such pages as VFH. I can also offer to make you a sexy, custom, functionally sound sig if you ask reallly realllllly nicely. :D? AimsplodeL A B O R A T O R I E S21:05 16 November 2012

I do quite simply say that the sig offer is tempting, just like that of a sexy woman. Sure, I would a sig.--General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 22:27, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
Aimsplode, before you take to lecturing newer users, would you please fix your own signature (using the magical SUBST:nosubst incantation)? It plants about 800 excess bytes in every page that you sign. Spıke ¬ 22:30 11-Nov-12
PS--Let me try to be more helpful. Both of you need to read UN:SIG, the Ignorable Policy on Signatures. Eric, the length of your signature does violate a firm rule. (Separately, your lengthy self-awarded title is a bit like wearing a purple leisure suit to a funeral when you don't even live in Detroit.) Aimsplode, you need to follow the link at the start of Section 1.2 of UN:SIG. There is coding that is both more compact for what you are doing and, if you later decide to revise your signature, will apply the change retroactively to signings in the past. Spıke ¬ 00:54 12-Nov-12

Your signature (2)[edit | edit source]

So yours breaks the rules, and yeah I'll make a sig for you. Any specifications (i.e. what name you want to go by, the placement of the words, a custom timestamp, etc)? AimsplodeL A B O R A T O R I E S21:05 16 November 2012

Alright, work on your sig has begun; we can talk about that stuff later. AimsplodeL A B O R A T O R I E S17:03 17 November 2012
Just keep the words in my current sig.--General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric (talk) 18:58, November 17, 2012 (UTC)

Hey[edit | edit source]

One of my old nominated articles suddenly got a few votes in the last few days and might get featured. i just noticed you have a vote on it both ways! Frosty told me the other day we can't vote both ways, it would be cool if you supported old lance and rescinded the negative vote! http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/Uncyclopedia:VFH/UnNews:Lance_Armstrong:_My_Moped_Shame --~Leverage 10:02, November 18, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, I'm sorry but I was banned during the time. I wanted to change to support, but too late.--Sir Peasewhizz de New York (talk) 01:10, November 23, 2012 (UTC)

Your signature (3)[edit | edit source]

Eric, regarding "Just keep the words in my current sig"--The words in your current sig are exactly the reason it violates UN:SIG. Viz--

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
General of All Branches of the Military and the Head of the State Police Eric

If the second line is longer than the first, as it is on my browser, then the line is too long. See also my parenthesized comment above that you shouldn't want these words in the first place.

Separately, I see you have been banned for three days for nominating crap articles on VFH; and your latest pick, The Last World War, cannot be mistaken for one of Uncyclopedia's Best. A ban would seem excessive except that we have discussed this very thing (above) to no avail. I think you are trying too hard to make a mark for yourself, when you should instead just try to be useful on the website and acquire a reputation gradually through good works. That is how it works, here and in Real Life. Spıke ¬ 12:53 18-Nov-12
