Whenever I try to vote, I type in #, but it shows up on the preview as {}. What is this, and am I doing everything wrong? --GAMESPOT=666 23:43, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, testing... Braydie , {}. I have no idea why it's doing this. Because it is you can sign the article by typing GAMESPOT=666 —Braydie at 23:50, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Got it to work, but I had to use #GAMESPOT=666. --GAMESPOT=666 23:52, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Ok cool, vote away! —Braydie at 23:54, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
It's trying to assign the parameter {GAMESPOT} the value 666 and not giving any value to the parameter {} which is the one that matters. Use : GAMESPOT=666 --Sir Volte KUN Talk (+S NS CM Bur. VFP VFH) 23:56, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
I replaced all of the #GAMESPOT=666s with s, if anyone cares. -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 17:07, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Ahh, yeah, good work Volte and Squiggle. —Braydie at 17:09, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

You know what would be weird? Uncyclopedia is the worst winning the best article of 2006. --General Insineratehymn 22:04, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

When does the voting close? --The Acceptable Thinking cap small.png Cainad Sacred Chao.png (Fnord) 22:24, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

voting will probably close around the time the PLS starts (Jan 14).--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 22:41, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey, wait -- wasn't Washington and Lafayette featured? Granted, it moved like a sloth with cement shoes . . .--Procopius 14:34, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

10 Votes?[edit source]

That's it? Madness! I need at least 15, maybe 20.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 04:29, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I know. This was incredibly hard. Next year will be worse, however, as we'll have 365 articles to choose from...--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 12:58, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I try to think positive; maybe I'll be dead by then.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 14:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
To keep things sane next year, I suggest a requirement for Top Ten nomination, like setting a minimum score of 18 (or 20, or 22, etc.) on VFH to make it to finals. I love Total Fucking Asshole Server, but I can't believe Horton Hires a Ho has only three votes; it was far and away the most popular thing I saw on VFH this year. And it certainly deserves to be in an end-of-the-year list of our best work.--Procopius 14:41, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm a bit shocked as well. But maybe it was one of those articles that's only funny for a week. Dunno. The public has spoken, tho. --Sir Todd GUN WotM MI UotM NotM MDA VFH AotM Bur. AlBur. CM NS PC (talk) 14:46, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I think putting a minimum requirement based on score would be a bad idea, since scores are naturally going to increase over time as Uncyc gains more and more users. There's also the fact that an article is likely to get a higher score if it just misses being the top score and follows a really funny one, like what happened to UnNews:RIAA CEO discusses the analog hole after MoneySign accidentally featured Voynich Manuscript. A limiter might be a good idea, but not just on score... maybe on rating on the page itself. --Wehpudicontok--Welcome to Vaporstory! 04:27, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

I fink I skrewd up?[edit source]

I think I screwed up all my votes. . . can I have more votes? #your name

Class of 3000[edit source]

Somebody added an article to the list that wasn't featured. I took the liberty of taking it out. --Wehpudicontok--Welcome to Vaporstory! 05:33, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for that. —Braydie at 11:57, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
