Just so you know, the loss of the earlier episodes is a horrible tragedy, I didn't know they were flammable!
Brilliant! I mean, damn, someone beat me to to Site-a-loo/Turdis joke. 84.9.68.118 06:24, 24 Apr 2005 (EDT)
That would be me...I'm glad it got incorporated into the newly re-written version of this article...Brilliant work! --RadicalX 13:06, 25 Apr 2005 (EDT)
New Idea's read them[edit source]
Colin Baker= Colin (find a Baker pun) Farrel 7th Doctor Leonard "Sylvester Bones" McCoy Possible example for a rewrite.
After Colin Farrel got sick of wearing apparel that was blatantly homosexual, he left to a career of washed up movie acting, taking his place was Leonard McCoy from Star Trek! as Star Trek was still cancelled at the time of production Dr McCoy gladly accepted this role, he had an annoying habit of screaming "He's Dead Perri!" and "I'm a Doctor Not a Time Traveller!!" Sadly when Dr McCoys actor Deforest Kelley died of Stomach Cancer the show was left without a lead actor. So they did the next best thing, hired Sylvester the Cat! (continue normal article of sylvester cat etc)
also make jokes of maybe Sylvester/7th doctor dying and joke about nine lives thing regeneration. As for Colin Farell note that his incarnation of the doctor regenerated after bumping his head to hard on the console when the tweety attacked!

Thank you![edit source]
Freebasser, for doing the rest of those Doctor profiles. It was a prospect I was dreading! --Machinecurse 23:53, 28 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Hehe, no problem. I actually got a sick enjoyment out of it! It's no wonder I'm failing my degree, though :o( --Freebasser 23:57, 28 Apr 2005 (EDT)
- Ditto. I say we sue Uncyclopedia. :) --Machinecurse 05:22, 29 Apr 2005 (EDT)
- HAZARDOUS ARTICLE -[edit source]
My wife actually choked reading this one. (She got better.) Work of genius. - David Gerard 12:23, 30 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Assistants[edit source]
I've added a section on them, if it was possible I'd stub just that section :-) I've started with a list of current UK PM's but I'm sure people can come up with a better list, edit away!!

Dare I say...[edit source]
...the best article ever?
The new additions over the last few days have had me in stitches - particularly the bit about the show being moved to a new time-slot and episodes being shown in random order. Classic shhhhtuff! --Freebasser 14:31, 3 May 2005 (EDT)
Genius, my friends.[edit source]
Purest genius

Mild Disagreement[edit source]
The basic joke here is funny, but it's started to drown under an excess of material that goes in every which direction instead of maintaining a reasonably focused satire - furthermore, a lot of the material dead ends - the Star Trek actors don't reflect the Doctor Who stuff, making this a dead end instead of the centerpiece of madness it ought become. I've kept the basic joke, but I'm going to rework some of the stuff so that everything is a coherently concieved of joke - not necessarily all the same joke, but at least so that every section knows what joke it's telling. Snowspinner 19:33, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I agree, this article is getting a bit long. I also think I'm missing all the jokes. --70.231.236.0 02:32, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
I concur, the article is too long, there is no real flow between the 'jokes' and it does not engage the reader. Also, I hardly laughed reading the article. To be honest - I would scrap this entire thing and start it again, or at the very least somebody could go through and remove 2/3 of the content which is superfluous and trying too hard to be funny. --Jaye 23:14, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Undertaker Pic[edit source]
Wonderful. Whoever has been doing the photoshops for this is great at it.
Origins of the show[edit source]
I'm to blame for that splurge, I'm afraid! I wanted to add a section telling the behind-the-scenes origins of the show, in a way which actually parodied the real Doctor Who show itself (rather than just picking abstract 'actors' and making jokes about them with a thin Doctor Who veneer added.) Something which would be zanny to casual readers, while containing a few nods and winks for the more enlightened fan.
Anyway, it kind of got out of hand, and I ended up writing a partial history, to the point where a little of it conflicts with previous text. I suspect someone will rip it out - although one option is to relabel the section "The Secret History..." or "The Behind-the-Scenes History..." (?)
(ps. the Sylvester the Cat photo is almost too funny!) I'm going to move it to it's own page. It will be called The History of Doctor Who. You can edit that--Paul is the walrus 23:41, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
TARDIS[edit source]
That abbrevation was fantastic. Cheers.
2nd Doctor[edit source]
Am I the only one who always thought the 2nd Doctor was Moe from 3 Stooges?
no, you are definitely not the only one! 173.17.26.178 06:58, November 16, 2011 (UTC)
Link into new article[edit source]
Any possibility please of a comment link from the lost episodes into the Missing television Doctor Who article?
- I linked it up at the top where it says about the missing episodes. Register for an account and edit for a bit and you should be able to do it yourself. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 02:48, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Missing Link[edit source]
...to "Doctor Jew"...
Production credits[edit source]
Very informative, although you should have mentioned that the "American (8th) Doctor"'s one and thankfully only appearance was directed by Alan Smithee. Give credit where credit is due, won't you? Have a wierd day.
Lead/ led[edit source]
"Lead" is a verb that means to guide, or a noun that is heavy element. "Led" is the past tense of "lead". Unless the error is intentional, the Dolly Parton caption should be fixed. Not my real username 05:54, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Dalek Fred[edit source]
Someone needs to add a link to the Uncyclopedia page on Dalek Fred, the unsung hero who succeeded in shooting the Doctor. Perhaps in the Foes section. 11:35, 3 July 2008 (GMT)

If the Doctors could be changed...[edit source]
I think Colin Mochrie and Madeline McCann would be funnier for Colin Baker and Paul McGann respectively.
I always thought paul McCartney would be better for # 8. I even made this picture!-Paul is the walrus 21:15, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
EVERYONE! (I subsequently hit my champagne glass with a spoon to call attention by making a clinking noise, until the glass breaks)[edit source]
Let's face it, the current Doctor Who page is cluttered, verges on complete wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey gobbledegooky nonsensical gibberish, and has a bizarre poll on it, even. (I mean, compare the featured version with the current version.) I propose a complete replacement with an article I have been working on (The Doctor) with minor adjustments. Thoughts? MacMania 02:18, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, never mind. There is a character page vs series page distinction, no? Sir MacMania GUN— 03:56, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Changed/Fixed[edit source]
I have done a bunch of stuff to inprove the article, but in the prosessz I decided to remove two sections. But, these sections have not ben deleted, just ben moved to there own pages. If you were attached to the section Origins of the show, see The History of Doctor Who. If you liked Selected Plot Summaries, see Doctor Who Epsiodes.
I hope you like the changes I have done. [Dare one of you to click on the Craig McLachlan link). Tell me what you think!
We've come a long wile[edit source]
I relised today how far this page has come! Remember when it used to look like this? and then This? and This? and This? and This? Then we FINALLY got off the ground with THIS! Yeah, those were the good old days...
Not Funny[edit source]
Can somebody put the real actors in. Putting fake actors doesn't make it funny. It's just stupid and you should read how to be funny and not just stupid.
- You should read how to not be emo. OH SNAP.
- No, I'm serious. You should read the actual article "Uncyclopedia:How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid".
Actually it’s comedy gold and we need to add one for 13.--Unuser (talk) 20:49, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
Funny you should mention that we needed a 13th Doctor. I already proposed one ALLLLL the way at the bottom of this page.

Changed Image[edit source]
I'm sorry, I am soo sorry, but I decided to change the Sylvester the cat Picture. You guys were referring to the one from the Loony Tones, right? Well the original picture had a cat head pasted over Sylvester McCoy's, so I changed it to something I made. If you miss it too much, I wouldn't ind if you changed it back. Tell me what you think of it! Paul is the walrus (talk) 23:37, April 13, 2012 (UTC)
Guy who it annoying and pissed.[edit source]
This is a featured article and you can't even keep it up to date? C'mon people, I've just had to sit through every episode because the only other thing to watch on TV is bloody Gordon Ram's-ass Shouts At People Like a Bastard. I know what goes on in each episode. Get a move on and write them since your edit button's gone. HURRY UP.
Locked?[edit source]
Why this locked, guy? There's loads more can go in it! Johnghost 17:14, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
Doctor number 13 (or the 13th Doctor or Doctor no. XIII, if you're a narcissist.)[edit source]
The 13th Doctor already had her first two episodes at the time of this posting, so we should probably get around to finding a good equivalent of her for this article.
My suggestion:
- Jodie Foster, director, who in 2013 acted alongside Matt Damon (this article's 11th Doctor). That already matches the Uncyclopedia version of the show as well as the actual version.
Anyway, I doubt people would notice this post, but whatever.

Episode Guide Additions and Reformatting[edit source]
In the episode guide on this main Doctor Who page, I added the rest of the seasons of the modern era to bring the list up to date. I added some episodes for each, and I will add more over time, but please feel free to add to these if you would like. I also filled in a few missing episodes for the classic era, and I will continue filling in some more.
The episode guide situation for this show is a bit strange. Three episode guides/lists exist:
- There is the list of episodes of the classic and modern eras on this main Doctor Who page. This is the only list that really covers the modern era.
- There is this List of Classic Doctor Who episodes with completely different titles and descriptions.
- There is this List of Doctor Who serials with entirely made-up titles and descriptions.
All of these lists and pages deserve to exist, though I was wondering if they should be re-organized at all. (The current setup is fine with me, I was just thinking.)
Finally, please let me know if I did something unforgivable by bringing this article up to date - I wasn't sure if there was a specific reason it had been left the way it was for so long. I think it makes sense to make the list more complete.
