Forum:Weird Al vandalizes Wikipedia!
Weird Al's new song "White & Nerdy" includes the comment "I edit Wikipedia" (lyrics) and in the music video, the article he edits (by typing "YOU SUCK!" in big letters) is Wikipedia:Atlantic Records, referring to Yankovic's not receiving permission from the company to include "You're Pitiful", a parody of James Blunt's song "You're Beautiful", on his Straight Outta Lynwood album. (Wikipedia notes that "Yankovic uses huge letters to make it clear to viewers what he is doing, although this is not actually possible in the current version of MediaWiki.")
They have since had to protect because of the flood of people wanting to keep it that way. It's rather an improvement, if you ask me. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 00:38, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I honestly don't know why we're talking about Wikipedia vandals on Uncyclopedia. Since when is this a Wikipedia board? Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 01:59, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I noticed that, too. The difference between you and I is that I didn't care about it enough to make a topic here. Also, some obscure bylaw says that I must whore this out in an effort to derail the conversation to a better topic. — Major Sir Hinoa (Plead) (KUN) (02:03, 5 October 2006 (UTC))
- White and Nerdy judge for yourself. Some people say I resemble Al in that video way too much. :) I even cited it on the Wikitruth forum thread. How many people who use Wiki sites will admit to being a geek or too white and nerdy? How about we write an article about it White and Nerdy and put the words "YOU SUCK!" in big letters like Al does in his video? Maybe quote Weird Al Yankovic but make the quoted letters like size 21 font or something? --2nd_Lt Orion Blastar (talk) 02:30, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- That's goddamn hilarious, if only for a little while, and I've copied your version over the present Atlantic Records. And left it locked, because I'm such a bitch - David Gerard 09:58, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- what about White And Nerdy? it's begging to suck? -- mowgli 10:14, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'll see what I can do to make it funnier. It seems to be lists of things, rather than examples and paragraphs. Being too white and nerdy, I have experience than can help it. --Off Des Orion Blastar (talk) 21:59, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I just thought it was funny, and worth mentioning, and worth making fun of. Are there rules about what we allow to be discussed in uncyclopedian forums? I mean, this had several topics related to Uncyclopedia going for it: Humor, parody, wikis and wiki vandalism, plus the potential to have some related content possibly made here on uncyclopedia. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 19:22, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Rule #1: Nerd42 may not post. -- 00:59, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Fight ClubUncyclopedia Forums? --Off Des Orion Blastar (talk) 03:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)- lol, wtf. –
- Hmmm, I guess you never saw or read Fight Club. The first rule was that you don't talk about Fight Club, since Uncyclopedia Forums has fighting in it sometimes I crossed out Fight Club and wrote in Uncyclopedia Forums. I think Fight Club on Uncyclopedia tries to make fun of Fight Club's first rule. --Lt. Orion Blastar (talk) 02:10, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Suggestion
Could we copy User:Hinoa/Atlantic Records on UnMeta? --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 19:25, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'd rather just copy it to Atlantic Records (currently CVPd) than a wiki nobody cares about. — Major Sir Hinoa (Plead) (KUN) (00:29, 10 October 2006 (UTC))
- I agree with Hinoa, but then, I'm the guy who invited Yankovic here, so it's possible I'm biased in WAY's favor.--<<>> 03:13, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
