Can you explain me why I am not allowed to post names on the damn Internet? Blakeman was banned for a week, MU HA HA HA!02:54, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

-.- Holy crap. Look at my reply on my talk page Sig pic.PNG Unsolicited conversation Extravagant beauty PEEING 02:56, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
And I will censor the name so no one will know what it is. Blakeman was banned for a week, MU HA HA HA!
No one here is stopping you from posting names elsewhere on the Internet. Uncyclopedia, however, is a wiki for funny things, or things that at least try to be funny. Names are not funny (unless that name is Snarkmuffin Tiddlyboff), and a name that's been censored is even less so, unless it's been deliberately censored for the purposes of a government paranoia joke. Nobody, and I truly mean nobody, wants to know anything about any real person when they're on this website.
So the real answer to your question, Mr Blakeman, is that you are not allowed to post real people's names on Uncyclopedia because you're not allowed to post real people's names on Uncyclopedia. --The Acceptable Thinking cap small.png Cainad Sacred Chao.png (Fnord) 04:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I am fantastically confused. Does that mean (for example) that (a) George Bush is not real? or (b) That George Bush is not his real name? or (c) that this (apparently serious) law has been ignored in some cases? What happens if I make up a fictitious name which happens to be the same as a real name (statistically very likely)? Should each article have a disclaimer in the beginning such as "No names have been changed to protect the innocent, since God protects the innocent as a matter of Heavenly routine?" You have boggled my mind. Pieface 06:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
But what about on Wikipedia? Blakeman was banned for a week, MU HA HA HA!
That of course is a completely different story. Everybody knows anything goes over there at wikipedia, the Sodome and Gomorrah of the creative commons wiki's. Why don't you just hurry along and create a giant bigwikinews article filled with how so and so does what to who at the whatever school in Ozzie land. And while you are at it please include that much needed and sought after profanity. Proper use of offensive vocabulary targeted directly at some unknown individual is a greatly appreciated over there at wikipedia, Not as it is frowned upon like in this place.--Vosnul 19:13, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

O my stars and chicken feet. Of course you can write about notable people on Uncyclopedia, and call them by their proper, improper, or idiotic names. The same sort of rules apply here as in general journalism: if a person is a celebrity or a notable figure then he, she, or it is fair game. HOWEVER: if you write about that middle-school teacher you hate, that bus driver that always looks down your dress when you get on the bus, or your little sister, and you identify them by name, then that's a kind of shitty thing to do. It's cyberbullying. So don't do that. Don't slam users of internet forums by name, either. Basic rule: if you have a personal quarrel with a private individual, keep it off the pages of Uncyc. That's all. ----OEJ 17:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Dude, I totally agree. He's always hogging the monkeybars and he made me eat that worm that time and he aims for your head in murderball and he thinks the PS3 is better than the 360 and he's got a mushroom haircut and he smells. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 19:28, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
