The Writes Guild (Yes, WRITES) is open, apparently, for those who have won writing awards --Sir General Minister G5 FIYC UPotM [Y] #21 F@H KUN 07:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- How come a Senior Writer needs a WotY, yet the two above it don't? So there can be only 3 Senior writers, but lots more Capital Grand Senior Writers? It seems illogical to me, captain. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 08:54, 20 Mar 2008
- I agree with Spang. We need to have the WotY to be the pinnacle of writing at Uncyclopedia. Having dozens of people at the top, but only three that can be Senior or that one below it makes no sense. When you hit WotY, you've "made it". You don't get that unless you rock socks.--<<>> 13:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Au Contraire, The title is quite hard to get, getting all those awards shows you better than a WotY. It's like two WotYs, but nobody will get two WotYs now will they? Thus, the title is harder to get than the 1st place. --Sir General Minister G5 FIYC UPotM [Y] #21 F@H KUN 14:36, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not really. Anyone who's won WotY will often have all the other stuff, save NotM. It's impossible to just go out and win a NotM award. You're only a noob once, you know! And besides, people often win it by means other than writing. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 17:09, Mar 20
- Remember when Luke was on Hoth and he was in the cave and there was a WotY there and he Force-pulled his lightsaber and R2 was all "Beep boop beep" and then Luke totally cut off that Woty's arm. That was cool. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:27, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not as cool as that scene in Blade Runner where the replicant WotY is trying to kill Deckard but he's dying but then Deckard is about to die but the replicant WotY saves him so he doesn't die but then he learns that he's a replicant too so he leaves. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 17:37, Mar 20
- Yeah, and the other detective who is also the boss on the Galactica is making the origami things and he drives a flying car and the rest of his crew on the Battlestar are all WotYs, but most don't know it yet except for the ones who do and they're all "Oh, no! We're all WotYs 'n' shit" even the hot blonde one who is a WotY and knows that she's a WotY. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:52, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Problems I have with it as it is
- NotM is WAY overvalued. Most NotM just disappear immediately after winning never to appear again. Also, if you didn't get it on your one and only shot, you're not getting it, so why have it be a requisite for the top position?
- WotY is way undervalued. You have to impress a hell of a lot of people to get WotY. You don't just "get it when you have just started." That's a rediculous suggestion. It just doesn't happen. You have to do a LOT to get WotY, and even then, there are only three in all of Uncyclopedia history to this point. Not only that, but it's got a set limit attached (ie, there will only be 5 by 2010). The people who've won it up to this point all had 10+ features BEFORE getting WotY, so having less than that as a requisite on top of WotY for a higher award is really silly.
- Why are waffles not mentioned in this award system? I personally don't like waffles, but I've heard that many people do, and I've made a commitment to fight for waffler rights.
In short, these are major problems I have with this award system.--<<>> 19:45, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
