Suburban homeboy[edit source]

In honour of your good taste and breeding for selecting a deep, socially conscious and literate satire as Suburban homeboy for featuring, I tip my cap to you. Hurrah!--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:15, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

American Imperialism[edit source]

Your image at the Reefer Desk is fantastic, let me say, for an MS Paint workup! You'd be dangerous with a copy of Photoshop. =)

That being said, I could rework it as what you have if you could point me toward your source images. I did my own workup on the concept, as posted at the Reefer Desk. But if I had your source images, I could redo to your exact concept. Don't worry, I'd give you the credit if it got VFP'd. Rad 20:27, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Thumbs up[edit source]

I like what you did with The Article That Never Ends! Keep up the good work! --- PiOfFive

User message boxes[edit source]

Do you have to keep adding them to so many pages? It's really not funny. That is the reason they're getting deleted. Spang talk 15:54, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Because ...I think it's an undeused idea, and if only five or so are out there, it remains rare and therefore funny. I think each one can stand on it's own humor-wise, but, if anyone disagrees, they can have a discussion in Talk, not just indiscriminately delete them. --Thetoastman 15:58, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
You should reply here and not my talk page, if I leave you a message here I'll be watching your talk page and will see when you reply. Same will go for anyone else leaving you a message. Just so you know! The userbox thing still isn't that funny when it's rare, it distracts from an otherwise clean article. If the article already has lots of templates on it, then mesage box wouldn't hurt it much more. But if the article has none, it just looks out of place. As for there being only five or so, you've put in about 15 in 4 days. Excuse me for anticipating a trend there! Spang talk 16:08, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. But I disagree with your opinion about templates- the trick message box relies on being out of place, it's supposed to look that way. I mean, it's a message box, it's designed to stand out. Maybe I have been going a little overboard with the message-box-placing spree, I'll give you that. I won't put up any more, but I'd appreciate it if the public in general doesn't just arbitrarily remove them. I think to a first-time visitor to the page, who's reasonably familiar with messages in a Wiki, they have definite humorous value, enough at least to remain on the pages. --Thetoastman 16:18, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay, but remember the majority of users aren't the first time ones! And new users may not even know what a message box is, so those might not get it either. I think if its too out of place people will remove them, but like I said they should be ok for the pages with a few templates on already. Spang talk 16:26, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay. Sorry about the talk page thing... as you can tell, mine doesn't get a lot of action. And when it has, it's been about The Article that Never Ends, which wasn't my best enterprise. :) --Thetoastman 16:31, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Its no problem ;) All seems to be well now. Well at least your talk page looks more used now, and you'll know for next time! Spang talk 16:52, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Construction expired[edit source]

Hello there. The construction tag on your page, "Scienceology" has expired. So I moved it to your userspace, where you can work on it at your leisure. It is now located at User:Thetoastman/Scienceology. Feel free to move it back once it's finished. Have a nice day! Spang talk 03:49, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
