VFD Comment[edit source]
- Yo Kokot - you are absolutely right, though not completely so. The point, as I see it, is to do what you describe, but make the articles funny and not just smart. I propose articles for VFD that are not funny and, in my opinion, can never be. Then I sit back & enjoy while a dozen Admins tell me how wrong I am. But it beats working at this weird camp I'm at. --Smrt-guy 22:00, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Riemann Hypothesis[edit source]
Well, hello! Re Riemann Hypothesis, I grant that the article wasn't the funniest of Uncyc by a long shot, but it had its moments. However, I fail to see even a comedic attempt, let alone success, in the version you apparently advocate (besides the proof itself). The introduction states nothing but fact. The little clean-up of the proof itself was nice (the reflection theorem's formula repetition broke the flow), but the second proof is not funny. I couldn't explain it precisely, but I think it lacks the "mathematicsness", the real-math-you-and-I-do feel that the first one has.
Waiting to hear from you. Pietro 05:52, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Pietro, thanks for your comment. Sorry, I made a mistake, this is the version I support. Gangsta rap joke can have any title (it's good), but Riemann hypothesis might well begin seriously to thrill the reader when the BS starts coming. I like the reflection joke, too, but might need more elaboration. Feel free to produce your preferred version and state your reasons.Kokot.kokotisko 12:43, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks[edit source]
Hey, thanks for your compliments. I'm pretty new at all this stuff, so this message may end up somewhere else.
QVFD[edit source]
Couple things:
- The {{QVFD}} template is not for marking articles for quick deletion. We have no such template, for very specific reasons. If you find an article that should be quick deleted, just list it on QVFD.
- The two articles you placed on the QVFD are not what we consider quick deletion. Denise Coffey for example is notable enough for parody (has an article on enwp, lots of google hits). This might be NRV-able but is probably fine as a stub.
--Splaka 05:46, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for instructing me on QVFD. Me never be in US, me do not know about Denise Coffey, me thought that this article was some teenager's pastime. Anyway, since this is a forest fire week when we need to burninate all the trash, I dare to disagree with you and opine that e.g. Denise Coffey would bear daring deletion. If she is notable enough, surely some idiot will recreate the article over, hopefully with some funny idea. Deleting will only speed it up. Btw. I just tried to fix E.T. article by adding a reference to certain person. How bad is it? Kokot.kokotisko 06:07, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- FF week should be over now. And anyway, there was a special submission page just for that (I think). --Splaka 06:30, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
VFD[edit source]
As you have probably figured out, I got a little pissed off with the shitflood on VFD. An in-depth explanation of why can be found here. 15:18, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Kabbalah[edit source]
Hi, by all means expand your section on Kabbalah as a Food, I think it has a lot of potential. The reason that I replaced the deleted content is because firstly some of it was funny, and secondly what you had replaced it with was only a paragraph and not an article. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
- I did it in an urge to cover up the original contents, I'll think over the expansion.
it's all good[edit source]
don't worry about it i'm not mad. i saved my code and reproduced it like 3 times on wikipedia, so i could print it out and save it for posterity (my friend and i who wrote it thought it was brilliant) but it probably needed to die anyway because the text itself was 85k (20 pages)! 14:42, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Edit War[edit source]
Maybe you were too hasty in reverting your article. I've rewritten it, as it was requested. It's just for this reason it wasn't deleted in VFD - that's the "new version" people were talking there. Now you overrun our job with a previous version that you yourself not took care in watching and preventing being vandalized. No, I'm not starting an edit war, fellow, but I guess the confusion has just began. -- herr doktor needsAgear [scream!] 23:04, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- I am sorry for overrunning any interesting idea. Actually, the reason why I wrote this "dear hatchling" of mine is because long long time ago, I was browsing the category of crappy articles needing a rewrite. The original original version capitalized on the fact that onomatopoeia means word creation so you can create any words and it's onomatopoeia. I thought that a fake Greek myth would do the job. I didn't finish my rewrite completely, but I already have a better version on my HDD, which I didn't upload yet. Then I went to do for a while those 50 Other Things One Should Do Instead of Editing Uncyclopedia, and I returned yesterday to see what's happening. I saw the following: 74.111.221.198 marked my idea crappy on Dec 8, 2:35 and replaced it without a comment on Dec 8, 3:02 with the following line: "Bark Bark Stomp Fizz sizzle bang pop boom. Meow moo, ting frrrrrrrrt. Pow kapow, fap fap fap. Booya bang." The article was now marked for rewrite and Guruji and Jives came to help with pictures of negroes with guns, atomic mushroom and more creative words. On December 22, 71.125.203.40 came and deleted their version, replacing it with a new, better collection of random words, all in capital letters. Compared to this, your rewrite, fourth in succesion, is indeed a progress. It returns in full circle to the original idea based on the fact (yuck) that onomatopoeia means word creation in Greek. When I saw it, I didn't automatically go for the revert. I said to myself - you see, kokot, your work is not appreciated here. They can't even revert a vandal. I left for my other favorite section of Uncyc, which is VFD. And what do I see? The new version is up for deletion on VFD. Now this really made me laughing and I couldn't keep from commenting. 74.111.221.198 got you guys working really hard. I just reverted it for those voters who don't check the history. My version is a total nonsense as per ig policy, I'm not attached to it, you can honestly tell me if you find boring or otherwise wrong. Similarly, let me say that everybody knows that onomatopoeia is word creation and pantomiming this fact with repeating interjections is too predictable to be funny. - Yet I'm still pissed, let's solve this in a diplomatic way. I'm following the advice other users gave me there:
- Forum:Let us settle an edit war before it starts
- So I'll proceed this way: I'm creating a new page Onomatopoeia (Mythology) and placing your job there. Please add that page to your watchlist so you won't lose track of it. I'll revert the original page to my rewrite and provide a disambiguation link to your page. Is that fine for you? -- herr doktor needsAgear [scream!] 13:03, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Glad to see this sticky issue being sorted out diplomatically. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
- Fine, one cannot piss against the wind. It's interesting how my original intention to help a poor crappy orphan turned into me creating another orphan page instead :) Kokot.kokotisko 18:40, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to UnNews[edit source]
You'll notice I've tagged your article, UnNews:Paedophilia marriage legalized in Japan, masturbation marriage under review, as needing improvement. Do not despair, though! Read on, and learn how to make your articles less huffable. Cheers! Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 20:15, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
On your knees, worthy one! The Right Reverend Major Sir Zim_ulator blesses you. Your blessings are increasing exponentially. In the name of Sophia, the Church of Uncyclopedia and the Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic, kneel and receive the melding of Zim's holy axe and your wetware. Now go write me a good UnNews article. Cheers! Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 03:48, March 15, 2010 (UTC) |
Welcome to UnNews, Kokot.kokotisko, and thank you for contributing some crap, or otherwise attracting my attention. For a quick introduction about how you can write a decent or better UnNews article, please take a minute read our spiffy new Style Guide.
I am your humble servant (in your dreams), and if I may be of help to you, please leave me a note on my talk page.
You can win awards and prizes! You can become a better writer by subjecting your articles to the scrutiny of UnNews critique machine or UnCanninator shit article detection system. You can become a thorn in the side of Journalism as a whole. You can get promotions, ribbons, and free crockery! You can write stuff your mom would be ashamed to show her friends.
If you've submitted an article, and it's disappeared, I may have mercy-moved it to your user space. This means I've probably left a message on your talk page, likely in close proximity to this very message, explaining why.
Your article may have been tagged for ICU if it has significant problems meeting our criteria, or I may have deleted it because you did not register as a user.
Finally, maybe you just pissed me off. I mean, I know I'm a Roshi, and I'm supposed to be all "Zen" about everything, but I have bad days too, you know?
If you are interested in doing an UnNews audio, check this out.
At present, I create UnCartoons for UnNews all by my onesies, for better or worse. Now, I will never claim that I am a good cartoonist. Fortunately, the internet provides us a way to do all sorts of things simply and easily. I found Stripgenerator.com, a great site to create cartoons with a minimum of talent.
- This document is an ongoing effort by me to enhance the obfuscation coefficient of Uncyclopedia; productive changes, and criticism are welcome. Cheers! The Right and Left Reverend Major Sir Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 17:38, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
I've changed my mind[edit source]
I've deleted UnNews:Paedophilia marriage legalized in Japan, masturbation marriage under review because it's hopeless, IMHO. I'm sure the subject of omorashi has huge potential for exploitation by UnNews, but I must insist, do this over if you're going to do it at all. Cheers! Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 23:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- O.K., I admit I'm a lazy bastard. I'll do it over. Kokot.kokotisko 14:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
