I didn't delete your article[edit source]

Thanks[edit source]
Martian Whatever Nadesico[edit source]
I've started making changes to the Martian Guardian Nadesico page; as amusing as it may seem to copy an article whole cloth from Wikipedia and add random sex jokes and insert your name, I think the article can be made to stand on its own. Remember: the purpose is to be funny, and not just stupid. Thank you! Viewer 19:20, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
No, problem!--Jtaylor1 02:52, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
I apologize if I caused any offense, but the Nadesico article is not your personal plaything, and if I see a way to improve it to make it have more value, I will take it. If we can reach some consensus over this, that's great; but your recent "changes" haven't improved the quality, nor made it significantly different from the Wikipedia article which you blatantly copied from in the first place. Now, can we start over? Viewer 03:11, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
...the article being deleted was a little more extreme than I expected--I guess I shouldn't have put that tag up--I'm sorry. No matter; we can rebuild it, make it stronger, faster, etc.Viewer 17:47, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Okay.--Jtaylor1 19:50, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
I had it subpaged here. User:Jtaylor1/Martian Guardian Nadesico. I just going to keep it here, from now on.--Jtaylor1 20:01, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Paiway Underberg[edit source]
Please delete this article, since it's non-notable.--Jtaylor1 20:55, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm... Ok, sweet heart, let's have a look at what we can learn today...
- Leaving a message on your own talk page will not get a sysop's attention. By all means, you're free to do so, but do not expect a response.
- There is no such template as QVFD. You can Quick Vote For Deletion by going to Uncyclopedia:QuickVFD. There you can read how to add an article and, more importantly, when an article is appropriate for QVFD and when it is not.
- Paiway Underberg is not a valid QVFD. Is has a history and you are not the only author.
- Another thing that might be usefull to have a look at, is the What links here page of the article. You can find the What links here link to the left of the article (in toolbox).
Note that if you click it here, you'll see what links to your talk page. If you click it on the main page, for example, you will see what links to the main page. - If you still think an article should be deleted, but it doesn't qualify as a QVFD, there's always Uncyclopedia:VFD. I'm sure you know how that works.
Hope you've learned something today. :D Take care. --~ sin($) tan(€) 21:19, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Understood, Sir MoneySign.--Jtaylor1 21:24, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Your sig[edit source]
Tell me, what seems to be the problem? --~ sin($) tan(€) 00:39, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm having trouble customizing my signature--Jtaylor1 00:44, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well duh... ;) "What exactly do you want to achieve with your sig?" would have been a more accurate question, I guess. --~ sin($) tan(€) 00:46, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Signing my votes.--Jtaylor1 00:54, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Uhm... Are you doing this on purpose? 'Cause I'm just trying to help. I mean what is it you want your sig to look like....? --~ sin($) tan(€) 00:58, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
No. Jtaylor1--Jtaylor1 00:59, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, well first off, the image is too large. I've uploaded a png-version (Small Egg.png), which is cropped and has transperancy (=good). Just change the Small Egg.jpg in Jtaylor1/sig to Small Egg.png.
- Secondly, here's my step by step guide on how to make your sig work.
- Go to preferences
- Change "nickname" into {{User:Jtaylor1/sig}}
- Check the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" box
- Save
- You forgot the User: bit in {{User:Jtaylor1/sig}}... --~ sin($) tan(€) 01:31, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please, stop making that template... If necessary, go over the steps again, and copy/paste the {{User:Jtaylor1/sig}} bit. --~ sin($) tan(€) 01:43, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Okay. I got it. thank you.--Jtaylor1 01:49, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Slander v. Lible[edit source]
In the VfD for That old hippie chick... you made the comment that it looks like slander in your vote to delete. Slander is spoken - If I speak about you in a way that damages your charecter because my statements are false and/or misleading, that is slander. If I write about you in a way that is untruthful, false or misleading, and thus damages your charecter, that is lible. Its just a pet peeve of mine.
- Libel--Sir Flammable KUN (Na Naaaaa...) 21:26, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
But I am interested on hearing why you feel that way about the article, seeing that it uses no one's name in the content of the title charecter. Dame GUN PotY WotM 2xPotM 17xVFH VFP Poo PMS •YAP• 13:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that.--Jtaylor1 21:23, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Change my vote from Delete to Keep. I misread it accidently.--Jtaylor1 21:44, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- I understand. For some women the biggest pet peeve in their lives are the men who leave the seat up. With me, its that Slander/Libel thingy. Hugs, Dame GUN PotY WotM 2xPotM 17xVFH VFP Poo PMS •YAP• 22:28, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Skeletor[edit source]
Is the article better now, or does it need something else done? You don't have to respond, but if you make any comments here I'll read them.
--RudolfRadna 20:19, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Your still doesn't have enough content. All I can see is just sentences in each section.--68.220.101.4 15:29, 3 April 2006 (PDT)
Your still doesn't have enough content. All I can see is just sentences in each section.--Jtaylor1 22:42, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Can you clarify? What should the sections contain other than sentences? I'm sorry, but I don't understand your comment. I'm just trying to make the article better, not argue with your NRV. Or are you trying to say this needs to be longer? I still don't understand why expand isn't the right template, unless you don't think skeletor is inherently funny or something like that.
--RudolfRadna 03:10, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
Yes, It needs to be longer and funnier. Don't just write short articles and leave em' there for a long time.--68.220.101.4 05:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
Yes, It needs to be longer and funnier. Don't just write short articles and leave em' there for a long time.--Jtaylor1 05:20, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
When you say it needs to be funnier, does that mean the jokes/writing need to be funnier, or you just think skeletor is a stupid, unsavable subject for an article? This is importantant, because I don't want to put time into trying to save something that's just going to be killed anyway because people here don't think the page's subject has any value.
--RudolfRadna 08:50, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm not saying that the article is stupid. Please read HTBFANJS.--Jtaylor1 19:52, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
NRV[edit source]
There's an interesting discussion at [[1]] about possibly changing the NRV template to be less intimidating to n00bs. Was wondering if you had anything to contribute to this, since I've already made my position known in the VFD forum and don't want to repeat myself.
--RudolfRadna 16:57, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
I've already read the forum. NRV can only be used no more than a month. If an article is more than a month old, {{ugly}}, {{expand}},and {{fix}} tags will be used. If I find a article that is incomplete, I'll tag them.--Jtaylor1 00:08, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, but now we're talking about maybe changing the template text. Differnet subject.
--RudolfRadna 01:57, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay.--Jtaylor1 23:06, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
QVFD[edit source]
Um, wtf? Someone blanks a page so you put it on QVFD? In case you missed it, the Q is for Quick, the VFD is a Vote for Deletion. If you're reporting spam, one line pages, or crappy vanity/attack pages, use QVFD. If you're reporting vandals, use the Ban Patrol. That is, if the user has more than one edit. I generally don't bother banning people who blank one page, as it's usually not worth it. But putting that on QVFD? Wtf? At least read the top of that page before posting! 21:39, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Famine, that page was deleted by the same person who created it.—Hinoa KUN (talk) 21:41, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay. Okay. I'll read the Deletion Policy.--Jtaylor1 22:12, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Greetings, salutations, etc.[edit source]
Hey! You missed me! For the record, I missed you too. There's something addictive about this site. Maybe not heroin-like, or even cigarette-like, but it's something. I can't quit, so I'll just try to be a bit more low key: write less, edit less, lurk less. Thanks for the talk page message. ~ T. (talk) 14:09, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome, T.--Jtaylor1 15:04, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
