Hello[edit | edit source]

Well I reverted you since you took down the ICU, please add content to the page and after you think it is OK, remove it with an explanation. The ICU clock restarts each time you edit, so don't be scared that the page will disappear. If the ICU thing really bothers you, replace it with {{construction}} and briefly explain in the "summary" (the text near the "Save" button) what you just did. Have a nice time editing and if you need help ask me on my talk page. Talk Mattsnow 15:58, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Well, it isn't under construction anymore. I don't see what more I can do to make it better. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 18:14, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

OK, I guess it needs to be a little longer, buddy... If you don't have any more ideas, don't kill yourself over it, maybe you should take on a topic that is going to give you inspiration... YOLO... I would not be able to write anything about that too! :) Talk Mattsnow 16:17, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Alright, that's easy. Thanks. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 18:14, May 9, 2012 (UTC) 17:09, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Dudes is right. You did pick a tricky subject here! Maybe try something else? MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 16:50, May 4

It is a tricky subject, but I didn't want to see a perfectly good idea go to waste, because an IP felt like ranting. So I tried to make it better. But, since everybody's (the admins') sense of humor is so sophisticated, nothing I do is funny. I'm honestly just using the sense of humor I've seen on other articles. And no, I'm not going to re-read Uncyclopedia:HTBFANJS. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 18:14, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Sophisticate? Na. We just see thousands and thousands of articles an have a good idea about where the level of quality is that we consider worth keeping. If we kept everything we would have a lot of stuff which a lot of people don't want to read. It's our mission to make a funny wiki, so we have to draw a line somewhere. You just chose a tricky article to write. I like a lot of the other changes you are making in some of the other articles, so don't be discouraged, I hope you keep up the good work! Oh... And also to be a pain... Your sig is a bit too big, and is messing with the formatting of the page. Check out UN:SIG for the "guidelines" but if you just make it a bit less big top to bottom that would be awesome. Have fun. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 17:16, May 9

Yeah, I'm working on that now. Better? Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 18:14, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Kingdom_Hearts[edit | edit source]

I have stuck an ICU on this as I don't see it as a mainspace article in its current state. I can move it to your own pages if you prefer to work on a bit more. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 08:09, May 14, 2012 (UTC)

That's great, man, but I'll need some pointers on what to improve first. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 13:44, May 14, 2012 (UTC)
I have added a wikipedia link as a short cut. At least other people will now know what you are writing about. For an example of how to write a game story - look at this as this one. Super Mario Brothers. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 18:22, May 14, 2012 (UTC)

I honestly only found that article slightly funny. I liked the style, but it was too serious for my taste. It reminds me of hundreds of other articles because of the sense of humor. For instance, "The original heroes of Italy were born in a cave between 1954 and 1963. They were forced to eat nuts and berries until they were 13 years old" seems a lot like "Virgil was banned from hell after passing out "Get Out of Hell Free" cards to his friends. With his tour guide days over, Virgil went in search of the closest thing to soulless work in Hell, work at Nike.", which is from Virgil. It doesn't even make me chuckle, I just keep reading. I laugh at devices such as understatements, -- "He was only slightly as smelly as a dead rodent covered in feces and sprinkled with dandruff" -- exaggerations, -- "Then, the Nazis transformed into large solar-powered robots, and proceeded to attack other nations" -- and the like. I sometimes find serious humor rarely, if you use actual facts, but with a humorous comment such as "President Bush (Or "W", short for "wonderful" to his friends - but then, all American's are W's friends, and he loves them all equally) was born on July 6, 1946, in New Heaven, Connecticut, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas, where he spent his formative years learning to walk like a man carrying two invisible hay bales.", which is clearly from George W. Bush. No, not all of it is factual, but it comments on his actions, and that gives me a laugh. So, I guess from my point of view, my articles carry some humor, and I don't want to write them like other articles. Hey, Weinribzivojonic orsomethingsimilar, Kingdom Hearts really makes me laugh. Maybe because I've played the actual game too, but for other people who haven't played it, it doesn't seem so funny. Sorry. But I thought... If I can help you with it? Can I? OMG!!! It`s Cat the Colourful, Jesus Christ!!! 14:25 15 May 2012
Sure, go ahead. Just keep the theme it has already. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 14:31, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Super Mario Brothers is an example, not a template. Not sure I would classify it as 'serious either'. What you want to write about depends on what interests you. My reason for using that as an example was it was notionally about a game but went off on it's own path. There are articles which appear that get classified here as 'gamecruft', stuff so obscure that no one knows what is trying to be extracted to make it at least another reader smile or better. For example, for another game featured article look at this one - All Quiet on the Western Front. I can also suggest this as well, Inbox and HowTo:Play Russian Roulette. For all articles featured here - Hall of Shame. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:27, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
I'm quite aware it isn't a template. I was simply noting it has the same humor as many other articles. A gag can only be used a few times before it gets old. Such is the way of humor. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 14:31, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Well go ahead. BTW, your signature is too long and breaks over two lines. Can you sort that out ASAP? --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:35, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Who are you talking to? Me? At learst Weinrib's sig isn't definitely two lines long! OMG!!! It`s Cat the Colourful, Jesus Christ!!! 14:39 15 May 2012
I think they were talking to me, because I just fixed my sig so it would fit better. However, I'm going to go back and change it so it will still do what I want it to. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 14:48, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Suggest you don't as you have had two warnings from admins regards the signature. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:53, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Is this acceptable? Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 15:22, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Yes that's fine. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 15:29, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Wonderful. Josuketho.pngThe Hamon Master WeinribJo Joestar of EarthJosuketho.png 15:31, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Two other examples of featured articles on games are Dragon Warrior and Street Fighter. If that KH article is still around I'd happily have a look (eventually). Nominally Humane! 01:10 28 Aug
