Uncyclopedia:Policies and guidelines

"Umm, actually, as per policies UN:IAR, UN:DIY and UN:I, ..."

The policies and guidelines of Uncyclopedia are spread out over dozens of poorly written and poorly organized pages, most of which are crude and/or inscrutable attempts at humor. This is an attempt to list the less unimportant policies in one page. Please note that many of the "rules" are vague, unhelpful, contradictory, outdated, completely ignored, and may even break a few laws. The only rule you really need to follow is: Don't be a dick.

Uncyclopedia:Rules

  1. Be funny and not just stupid – see Uncyclopedia:How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid.
  2. Don't be a dick – see Uncyclopedia:Behavior and Uncyclopedia:Don't be a dick.
  3. Dance like you've never danced before! – see Uncyclopedia:Dance like you've never danced before and User:Shabidoo/List of dances.

Uncyclopedia:Five pliers

  1. Uncyclopedia is an anti-encyclopædia – see Uncyclopedia:About.
  2. Uncyclopedia uses the "Satirical point of view" – see Uncyclopedia:Satirical point of view.
  3. Uncyclopedia is content-free – see Uncyclopedia:Copyrights.
  4. Be civil and constructive – see Uncyclopedia:Civility.
  5. Praise Sophia – see Sophia.

Uncyclopedia:Beginner's Guide

This list covers any policy pages which happen to be part of the beginner's guide, for some stupid reason.

Policies

"Your 'joke' actually violates so many policies, I'm contacting an admin!"

See Ignorable policies for all policy pages that someone bothered to categorize. Please note that many of the policies may simply be mislabelled essays done by whinging admins to express their feelings of saltiness as an overbearing lecture.

There is also Actual Uncyclopedia policies for policy pages which have been labeled "serious" on account of covering actual important rules which may or may not affect this site legally. Consider these policies "extra not ignorable", unless they break any laws, in which case, they are just another kooky attempt at satire! Woohoo! That won't hold up in court...
