Okay. Now it's getting out of hand. DaniPine3 (talk) 00:05, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- yeah I made it even more out of hand, despite my own warnings. I really am a twisted motherfucker. I was inspired by something that went on in the “Jews vs. Kanye” section of ASBOWAAT. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- A story built one byte at a time, a story built one video at a time, a story built "a story at a time" at a time,... and now this: A story built half a word at a time. What's next, A story built one third of a word at a time? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that happens... - A story built one story at a time
- Technically, that's what A story built one "a story at a time" at a time is... DaniPine3 (talk) 12:48, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

Coherent[edit source]
Could this please not turn out to be like "a byte at a time" and "a word at a time" and "a letter at the time"? Could this not just be random mishmash and actually be coherent? Fenris2010 the moccasin-wearing Grue You hear growling... • Join the Empire! 03:08, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- I see little chance of that with no use of "a" or "I" and everyone trying to avoid the obvious word i.e. that's abso- becomes that's absolvable! ݬલטαฬ םɐۼ - ᚦ¡ទᑕʋᛢᛇ - ɪ øటñ ᑌᑎᑦᛉ๔1០ᖀξᗟᛧą - but ɳ̩ɵɞ°₫¥ ເἀᚱΞᛇ 15:13, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
That's it, I'm killing off ASB1/2WAAT[edit source]
Time to make the asbowaat series less oversaturated! Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ (vandalize my talk page) 15:04, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @OPOSSUM: Maybe we can have a subpage with the actual "story" so people can read it? -More toasters please (talk) 15:43, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @OPOSSUM: I don't think that's a good idea; and even if we end shutting this down by not letting more people edit it, we still should keep it as an archive, rather than straight up deleting it. 🎄🎄🎄DaniPine3 (talk)🎄🎄🎄 15:56, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- If we "kill off" any story in this series, it should be ASBOTAAB. -More toasters please (talk) 15:57, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @DaniPine3: Well, I don't want this piece of shit, I don't want to be associated with it. I feel that it should be at least turned into some sort of museum exhibit. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- @OPOSSUM: Maybe don't say you created it? Let others contribute? -More toasters please (talk) 16:06, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @More toasters please: Well, I think that ASB1/2WAAT has become a shithole, even worse than pre-truce ASB2WAAT. Nobody should ever contribute to this mess. It really is "the dumbest idea of the century." If you really want to keep it, perhaps you could, say, delete the original and all records of it, and restart from a blank slate, or something. Also, like you said, killing off "one time at a byte" isn't a bad idea either. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- Besides, all you need to do if you want to find an article's creator is to go through the page's revision history. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- @OPOSSUM: you might not want it, but others do; and since this is a wiki, their opinion count the same as yours, even if you're the one that first created this page. As More toasters please said, you can just not talk about how you're its "creator" if you don't want to be associated (plus I doubt anyone will really care enough to go search history), but still let others participate. It's true the whole ASBOxAAT has kinda go out pf hands, but I' d argue a better solution rather than shutting down older ASBOxATs, would be to not allow further creation of new entries to the series. 🎄🎄🎄DaniPine3 (talk)🎄🎄🎄 16:15, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @DaniPine3: We've tried to discourage people from creating more ASBOWAATs since the very beginning. But we've just kept letting it slide. Over and over again. This series was already considered oversaturated a year ago. This time, we'll have to actively prevent more of these from being created... and in my opinion, it would be better to delete/archive a few of these articles too. The ones nobody cares about like "one time at a time", "a word built one story at a time", "one phrase at a time", and of course, this one. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- @OPOSSUM: You could have your own version as a user subpage, starting anew but still keeping the original. -More toasters please (talk) 16:17, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- @More toasters please: No, we want fewer of these stories, not more! Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ

- @OPOSSUM: @DaniPine3: Well, if someone does try to make another ASBOWAAT, it could always be moved to the userspace of whoever made it, like what was done with a story built one emoji at a time and a Project Sekai fanfiction built one word at a time. Also if someone wants to make a new version of an existing ASBOWAAT, such as the MFIB version or the Tropical Panther version.
