I think Cassie has recently been picking up 95% or more of the admin load in the last few weeks (and a whole lot in the last few months) and I think he is really overstretched. I propose we elect two admins this round (p.s. I won't be running btw). Let's discuss this for a couple days before voting. Does anyone have any good arguments against this? - FYI, Zana Dark is the only user here with more activity than me; as such, I think nominating her for admin would be a great choice. Having someone else too wouldn't hurt though. Cassandra (talk) 01:32am March 23, 2021

- I personally think Zana should be an admin (clogs up QVFD), but I think JJPMaster also deserves it. He has imported many user scripts here, he needs it to edit user interfaces. many things that need full prot are ECP'ed because he isn't, and I think only admins should be able to edit it. He wants all these parts to admin, giving him admin would make it easier. Zana comes 2nd, if we were to nominate 2. I also think we should nominate someone for bueracrat. And JJP may have only been on here for 3 months, but wp:Special:UserRights/JJPMaster proves he is trustworthy. Gale5050 aka Andrew5 let's talk! See me on WP! - The workload delta between crat and admin isn't too big, so I'm not against it. Don't worry about me, I should be fine no matter how much my talk page is asploding. - I agree Zana is a good nominee. I will also nominate MrX who has been here for a year, is level headed, has featured a few articles, is amicable and active. Is a good candidate for sure. ShabiDOO 02:51, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

- I would also like to nominate God...because God is responsible for everything that happens with us great creatures on Earth. I believe that it was...in fact God who wrote AAAAAAAAA! to strike fear in our puny hearts. So he should definitely be an admin I think ShabiDOO 11:03, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

- But then the issue becomes, if we nominate both MrX and Zana Dark, I'm not sure if I could get JJPMaster through. He deserves it more, needs it more, and has imported multiple user scripts, has a bot that can be shut down by ECP users(which is an admin level privilege), he even wants interface editor rights. So, it would be a lot easier to give him admin rights. MrX meanwhile, has really done not much besides write a few FAs, which don't require admin level rights. Some of his admin requests were denied, giving me pause. Therefore, if we nominate MrX, we should be allowed to have 3 admins run at VFS. JJPMaster also has NPR rights on Wikipedia, something only ~700 users have. He is much more fair and calm then MrX. However, I would be ok with MrX running, if we were to allow 3 candidates to run (Zana,MrX and JJPMaster). Gale5050 aka Andrew5 let's talk! See me on WP! - Gale that is a very unfair description of MrX and you should be more respectful when talking about candidates like that. JJPMaster, as great and as useful as he is...has been around for a few months and he has personally said he is not interested in running for admin. Usually a user with a few months experience has little to no chance being voted in as an admin by the admins during the second round. Remember Gale...everyone participates in the nominations...only the admins actually vote for them in the second round (i.e. we ordinary plebs have zero say in the matter...unfortunately). - I'll agree I could have had a more fair description of MrX, but JJPMaster has a clear need. Also, Cassie was a noob when she was admin, and MrX has also had 14 months tenure so...what you said about JJP could apply to MrX. I base need for admin over anything else.
