Ok, ok, so I know I don't really use these forums, in-fact this is my first topic thingy, BUT... These topics are so messy and ugly and stuff what with the huge amount of indentation and things...Wouldn't it be so much better if we separated each user-comment-thing by a line (----) and your sig is on a seperate line to everything else before this line...? Just so that you can read nicely what the hell is going on... So like if this is the end of my post...

The sysops are too lazy, and your idea wouldn't work in practice. According to your theory, all conversations happen linearly. A really involved discussion doesn't, and it'd be impossible to see who's replying to who, or where the original post they were replying to is... and so on. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • critchat) 20:49 Apr 05, 2008

This is just not a priority issue. There's huffing to be done, people to ban, and pages to feature. Only "enthusiastic" new sysops would try and do this low-priority work.

tu! Lazy sysops it doesn't require that much effort! Pah! Also my idea is based on the most popular forum software: phpBB (mainly there are other software that uses the same technique) where you have a linear conversation. It is much clearer!
