Signature suggestion[edit source]
Please, when you change your signature... do this:
Go to [[User:Y|sig<number>]] and fill and in the number of the sig update, then add/remove/change whatever to your sig. Then add it to your prefs.
It's kinda annoying seeing you change your sig manually...--Sir Peasewhizz de New York 22:55, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- What? I'm using now three templates for my signature, when I had previously used two.. also the date in my old signature was in my preferences. Sorry to be annoying. ~Y KUN — 07 February MMXIII 01-39-39 ¿
Competition[edit source]
Hello my dear adoptee. I saw that you've organized a competition. That is cool. Competitions are awsome. There should be more. Though if you don't mind me saying, it might be a good idea to sound out the story of the competition. Like...what are you trying to acheive? With PLS, it became the central competition of the site about writing the best article and it's sort of for showcasing one's best work under the scrutiny of public judging. The thanksgiving compeititons are about slease and shock writing (as that is rarely featured so it's nice to have it judged), Zombiebaron has an image competition sometimes to promote the creation of images, sometimes there is a competition to improve a stub article (to bring awareness to the giant amount of stubs), and then there is Happy Monkey, whose point is to bring out rapid creativity and originality in the writer, and then there is the article whisperer which is designed to get users to write articles that are requested. The noob only competition gets noobs to finish an article and get feedback and encourage them to take part more in the wiki. All of these have a purpose (to get certain kinds of articles or to get writers to try out different formats of writing). What do you want to acheive with your competition? --ShabiDOO 02:40, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hello my dear adopter. This is a combination of a lot of those. I'm trying to get awesome articles/photos by nOObs and try to see how well writers can do whilst given a subject, not chosen a subject; also while having a deadline to finish said article/photo. Again, there is also the nÔÕbs, who if there are some awesome editors who have been in the fold for years counting, they don't have to be shined out by. And, once again, it's all around: the categories of articles, images, and non-mainspace articles. If you want to make text look longer, type kangaroo kangaroo a couple of times. So next, the judges. I don't want one person to have judge an article/photo. If one person judges a n00b's work and they don't like it, that's highly opinionated and just one person's point of view, which might get the n00b pretty discouraged. I'm going to have a format of judging similar to a Pee Review, where they have different categories and not just &lquot;A B C D F&rquot;. Kangaroo kangaroo kangaroo kangaroo. And also, if anyone has any questions or comments or concerns, they can put it in the Disco ussion. And giraffe-rillaz. So in conclusion, it's kind of an all around competition. And Put new things at the bottom of the page by pressing "Add topic" Thank you! ~Y KUN — 09 February MMXIII 21-15-49 Ꮈ
