Vandalism
I was asked to get an admin to help deal with a vandalism issue. If you have a chance, please refer to [http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/User_talk:Flammable_KUN#Might_want_to_Remedy_That...] or pass this on to the appropriate person. Thanks. --Hrodulf 15:40, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

It's funny that I found another one of your ugly tags, just by accident! I tried to help this one a bit. I even did the MS painting.HAHA --Severian 04:29, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Hihi, you tagged this article as ugly and I just spruced it up a bit. I do freely admit that I hate the article, despite it's semi botched plastic surgery. --Severian 02:58, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
NRV
Hey, I've decided to jump the shark and merge NRV and NRVm, as it is now possible without css hacks. Here is how I did it:
{{if|{{{fix|}}}|then= {{!}}- {{!}} colspan="2" align="center" style="background-color: #fcfcff; border: 1px dashed #b79; height:40px;" {{!}} {{{fix}}} }}
This checks if a parameter 'fix' exists, and if so, then adds a new table row and cell with span=2 using the css style you had on NRVm. Template:! allows usage of vertical pipe inside a template, and setting the third parameter of {{if}} to then=
allows use of equals signs. This took me an hour or so to figure out. ^_^.
I added it as a new table row, as it looks better than just sticking it below the other text. Try it out:
{{NRV|~~~~~}}
{{NRV|~~~~~|fix=don't suck!}}
Look ok? Fiddle with the cell code if you like. --Splaka 09:53, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Boggieman
Since I have moved Boogieman to my user space may I please remove the NRV tag? --Naughtius Maximus F@H Woof! MeowMUN 15:03, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yep. Absolutely. In fact, I should probably add something to the NRV page that tells people to do that when they move a page to userspace. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 20:01, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
NRV question
Hi there. I was wondering if there was a list or something of the "few other trusted users" who are allowed to place NRV tags. Can you tell me if there is?
Thanks in advance, --Kenmcfa 08:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- If you have to ask, you are not yet ready. First rule of NRV club: you never talk about NRV club. --Splaka 08:31, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- I wasn't trying to find out if I was ready, I was trying to find out who already is ready.--Kenmcfa 15:48, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- There isn't a list. Only a few people other than admins NRV. The closest there is to a list is the list of admin nominees that didn't make it last time we called on the Dump for new admins. Most of the trusted people are also IRCers. If you have a question about someone NRVing a page when you don't think they should be able to, you can ask. If it is innappropriately placed I will remove it. If it is appropriate I can give you advice on fixing it. Hope this answers your question. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 21:23, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok then, can you give me advice about my Torchwood page. I now think that the NRV is a valid one, but can you help me improve it?--Kenmcfa 19:53, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- My main advice is to flesh it out. Right now it seems like the skeleton of an article. You might want to come up with a broad and overarching concept for the piece. I see from the en.wp page that the series is new, so it might be hard to just do a humorous description of the show if there isn't much to describe yet. My advice is also to avoid direct insults ("x-files rip-offs") in favor of more subtle jabs that imply the same thing. If you are still working on the page and promise to improve it, you can replace the NRV tag with a construction tag. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 21:28, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok then, thanks for the input.--Kenmcfa 14:38, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Here's your new message... ;) Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 04:15, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
On your knees, worthy one! The Right Reverend Major Sir Zim_ulator blesses you. Your blessings are increasing exponentially. In the name of Sophia, the Church of Uncyclopedia and the Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic, kneel and receive the melding of Zim's holy axe and your wetware. Now go write me a good UnNews article. Cheers! Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 03:48, March 15, 2010 (UTC) |
Link addition to DID
No problem. Thanks. --So So 03:06, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Congratulations!
Hey, congrats on the UOTM win, dude! I would have voted, but it was neck-and-neck with Keitei, who really is equally deserving and would fucking kill me if I voted against her is a very sweet person who I like very much. --Algorithm 10:27, 1 May 2006 (UTC) SEND HELP!
- Thanks! It actually didn't register to me that the award was made single-recipient. Keitei certainly deserves it too. (I voted for her.) ---Rev. Isra (talk) 22:59, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
New how to page for n00bs
As a result of another discussion about deletion policy in the village dump, I've written a short howto to help n00bs avoid running aground on uncyc's sometimes rocky shoals, Uncyclopedia:How To Get Started Editing.
I was curious if you had any comments on the piece, particularly whether you think it's useful as it is or needs changes.
--RudolfRadna 23:07, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Reading the forum thread, it looks like everything that needs to be said has been said. I have no objections. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 07:24, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I just wanted to run it by you since if you thought there were any significant changes that were needed, I'd want to know about it. But since it's fine as it is, I'll leave it alone. Thanks for looking into it. --RudolfRadna 13:56, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for adding the links to my Subtitled anime page. In a total brain fart, I forgot to do so myself. I appreciate the compliment too. :) -- neoEva88 MUN F@H PS CM NS (talk.to-do)
Ugly GameFakes
I saw the ugly template at the GameFakes article (my article), so I added an image to the article, removed the fun but ugly fundraiser template, and did some more things, so I'd like to know whether it's gotten better, and if I can remove the template (thanks for reminding me the article was ugly and it needed some more effort, 'cause geez, it was ugly). -- User:PBz0r 13:41 (GMT +1), 21 April 2006
- It is much improved. Thank-you. I have removed the ugly tag. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 20:21, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I remembered to add a title
Hey, list-gen person. Take a look at Uncyclopedia:Watchmaker. I generated the lists myself with some annoyance this time (arg). Um. I forgot what I was gonna bug you about. Nevermind. *goes to count pennies* --Splaka 07:42, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Magna Carta v. 5.0
Hi Isra. Thanks for your diligence. I don't propose to make any formatting changes and I don't think there's any need to put an "ugly" template on it. Believe it or not, the number of colours and the weird formatting is on purpose, i.e., for stylistic effect. (Intentionally not blog-like formatting even though it's an LJ blog like entry.) By the way, I'll add some wikilinks to the article (hopefully tonight) so that I can remove the "dead-end" template. --Ogopogo +S (TALK) 14:18, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Everything in VFH?
Isra, I just wanted to point out (because it was the only reason you listed for voting against me in NotM) that I didn't vote against everything in VFH, nor was it just articles by me that I voted for... the articles that I voted for were removed from the list... Thanks! --Mindsunwound: (MUN) Pissing Vinegar Man Babies 22:06, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
