Won the Poo Lit Surprise in the category of Best Article with my article Atomic Mass, July 22, 2007.
Not an award, persay, but on August 2, 2007, a bot added a link from MacBook to an equivalent article on the Korean Uncyclopedia: 맥북. Upon examination of this article with Google Translator (which did a terrible job for the most part), I noticed two things: my Image:MacBook Sketch.jpg was used unaltered, even retaining its English filename, and my quoted month of May 1031 as the release date of the first MacBook was also used. Finally, the phrase that Google and Babelfish translate as "pulse hemp cloth" seems to actually be the Korean transliteration of the name "Macbeth", as the phrase appears in quotation marks on the Korean Wikipedia article on William Shakespeare. Well, it seems I have a Korean fan; after all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Now I'll just have to wait until the new school year and show it to some of my Korean classmates so they can translate properly.
