This is because regular news articles generally don't have the same type of prose as regular encyclopedia articles. Just go to any news website, and you'll see that almost all articles are written as one big section, broken up by paragraphs but not the same section headers as encyclopedia articles. If you still want to vote against featuring this, that's fine. I'm simply pointing this out in case you weren't aware.
