Talk:Brittany Hensel

Great idea and well executed. Why not send it to Abby Hensel now in its present well finished state and ask does it give her a giggle ? She might even make suggestions to improve it or show it to her sister. She could also give you a boost of approval which is always nice. Disabled people usually have a well developed and often unsuspected sense of humour, particularly about their condition.

Would you take a look at my work and tell me what you think  ? i am sort of afraid to be anybody's Pee reviewer as, like Highlander, "There caaaaaan be only wohone wohone wohone"

Hey, Phrage! Glad you liked my article! I wouldn't have any idea how to contact Abby Hensel and I'm not so sure I want to open that can of worms, but I'd hope she'd like it and not be horribly offended by it. I'll have a glance at your work when I get the chance! Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 19:13, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but this article about a living person (particularly with an unfortunate condition) is rather demeaning to not only her but to her sister as well. When I saw the video they made awhile back, they expressed they just wished people would treat them normally instead of as circus freaks. I'm pretty sure this would offend at least one of them. I propose this article be deleted immediately without further question. If someone can get actual permission from the girls, go for it, but until then, no. This is a problem with being in the public eye.. there's just a lot of sick scumbags out there.--Sycamore (Talk) 21:57, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
Hey, at least they're not as bad off as this guy!--Aleister
If we deleted all our offensive articles immediately, there wouldn't be much left of Uncyclopedia. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 22:01, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
If Conservapedia deleted all of their offensive articles immediately, they'd be left with their article on us. Weird. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 22:06, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
Demeaning? Unfortunate condition? What are you talking about, dude? If anything, this article treats them as perfectly normal persons. Unlike the Wikipedia article, which treats them as though they're one person with the first name "Abigail and Brittany". Funny?[edit source]

If you think this article is funny, you must have an amputated sense of humour. The funnies bit is the part below here: "please be funny and not just stupid." Pity the creator of this article didn't read it. – Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.248.187.160 (talk • contribs)

"Amputated sense of humour"? You know damn well Abby and Britty can't be separated through surgery and here you are speaking of amputation? How insensitive can you get? to the creator of this article: your not treating them normal, your just being plain mean! your making fun of them, being made fun of is not wat they meant by being treated normal. i know i wouldnt like to be made fun of for anything so y would they be ok with this. if someone went online and wrote a completley rude and horribley mean artical about your sister or brother comming from your point of veiw would u think its funny??? i know i wouldnt. u need to ask them before u post anymore of this stupid article! they should be treated normal, but not made fun of. if i were u i would just delete the article completey!

if i was brittany and read this article i would cry! its just plain mean, especialy since u wrote it from her sisters point of veiw!!! – Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.179.141.138 (talk • contribs)

Wrong on all accounts. This is called satire. Making fun of them would be making crass, unintelligent jokes about their having two heads on the same body. This article actually treats them as separate people, and uses their conjoined-ness as a vehicle for comedy, not for poking fun at. If you can't see the satire in one twin calling the other a ho-bag, when they essentially share the same body, then I don't know what to tell you. Also, given that they do essentially share the same body, I doubt that she would mistake that her sister is the one that actually wrote it, regardless of if it was written from her sister's point of view!!!
