Not Uncyclopedia?

Just wondered how many people had noticed that Uncyc has been running very slowly? It's starting to remind me of myself on school sports days. Especially over the last few days, it's been getting so that sometimes I have to wait 10, 20 or even 30 seconds for a page to load. I know a few other people have noticed this, and I wondered if there was anything which can be done to speed things up a bit? Any ideas? MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 18:16, May 15

Is it also slightly overweight and wheezing? -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Maybe we need to delete all of the fat users? Come on, anyone who can't see their private parts when they stand up, own up... MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 18:28, May 15
Yep, I've been whining about it in IRC for some time. At first I was all like, "OMFG SPANG WE HAZ TOO MUCH JAVASCRIPT" and Spang was all like chill, try running Uncyclopedia without the JavaScript. So I did. And I found out that it wasn't our JavaScript. But then I ran Uncyclopedia on a different skin and WOWZERZ my browser goes crazy with speed. But even then it's still slow. I know it's gotten slower and it's not just me because I cleaned out my computer, and Fnoodle is running slower than normal. In fact, AWB in general is a real pain to use because it keeps timing out, even if I set the timeout to three minutes. I blame Wikia.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 18:25 May 15, 2008
Try dial-up, and then come to me again and tell me about Uncyclopedia running slowly. * Flumpa Quotes.PNG 18:25, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I merged my .js into one big lump so it did not need to call the document import thing every time, and that defiantly made things a lot faster for me, but sometimes it's still really slow. I'm not sure it's just .js as I get this even when not logged in sometimes. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 18:32, May 15
It's not javascript that's the problem, it's wikia, always. Spang talk 20:35, 15 May 2008
