Yes I believe that it is possible to have an intelligent conversation on the matter. Ok some things about ED. ED was registered in 04 uncyc was registered in 05 live with it. ED is a satirical wiki that was mainly indented to mock the internet so yes baed grammerz exists on the internet therefore it is spoofed on da wiki. Sadly, seething as how tubgirl, 2girls1cup and goatse exist and are a fundamental part of the internet then it will be in the wiki regardless of "quality or taste". Although it is known to have harassed people a lot of those people deserved it (it was edited by the deputy director of wikimedia). The fact of the matter is if you honestly belief that ED is a racist, homophobic hell hole of hate then you also belief that Stephen Colbert and Sasha Baron Cohen are giant bigots as well.

The only people who "hate" ED and make an issue of it are idiots and children. They both exist for different purposes, to serve different types of humour; as such, ED has nothing to do with us, and we have nothing to do with them, really. Good luck to them, I say. I'm going to post this pic everytime I see ED mentioned in the forums. It's a nice pic of my Pa'. *sniff*, I miss Pa'. Went out for smokes and never came back, he did. Plus, since headers don't appear to be length-limited, I can just ramble on about whatever comes to mind. Which is nice. The rambling, I mean...

ED; large and in charge, probably. I haven't been there in a while. Not since that picture of my butt exploded on the scene. Not literally. (Okay, literally).

I huffed the talk page because of people like you, Cartoon Diablo. The page isn't for discussing which wiki is better. I don't care about which site you think is funny, or stupid, or offensive, or really about anything you have to say on that matter. It's for talking about the article. Normally I don't care about that sort of off-topicness; uncyc has tons of it on other talk pages, and in the forums, and everywhere else you can find two people coming into contact with one-another. I only object to it when it turns into a stupidity-fest. In other words, I'm tired of boring comments like the ones you and others have posted there. I don't care who wants to tell me their wiki is the best -- ED, Uncyc, illogipedia, rationalwiki, conservapedia, who cares? You won't sway anyone with your "arguments," no one's having some grand epiphany because you've gloriously shown them the light of reason. You're wasting your time there (and here, probably). If ED users (like you) and Uncyc users (like whoever was having a go at ED on that talk page) can't figure that out on your own, then I've figured it out for you. Lest we forget

They did send us a DMCA take-down notice, which in hindsight , was completely frivolous because we didnt infringe any copyright what-so-ever. Of course, Uncyclopedia has its own brand of compliance. Disclaimer from the author

For the record, I do dislike ED, but that wasn't the motive behind writing the article. It was a shot at the particular brand of ED readers that take the anger, hatred, and arrogance of the website to heart. Notice ED paints every internet thing in the worse possible light, yet they don't have an article that pokes fun of themselves? That was my inspiration. Basically holding up a mirror, I simply copied that style and wrote Encyclopedia Dramatica (Website). (Though it was moved from my userspace and turned mainstream without my approval. It's the second time that's happened to me) I never really got around to finishing it and turning it into greatness, but to hate the mocking tone of the article is to hate ED's own style. Ironic, no?
