Talk:Charlie Kirk
Too soon?[edit source]
I know you libs really didn't like him. But isn't it too soon to mock his death? OranguTang94 (Complaint board) (Damage trail) 04:41, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
@Orange I didn't realize exposing him as a horrible person was "mocking him". I understand removing the second bit as I thought it would be helpful for keeping the peace on an article obviously controversial in this moment but everything else I put there felt just considering that he promoted those ideas willingly. – Preceding unsigned comment added by IS21 (talk • contribs)
- I think Orangutang94 was referring to edits like this, saying he "thankfully" died. Don't get me wrong, I celebrate death sometimes. I celebrated Osama Bin Laden's death. Bin Laden killed people. Charlie Kirk was murdered for political opinions. MrX 20:53, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
I agree. Charlie Kirk may have ticked off people on the far left. But he encouraged debate. It's not fair to celebrate the death of a guy who simply had controversial opinions but didn't actually kill someone.
I think this page should instead lampoon the two VERY contrasting views on Charlie Kirk and how divided we've become. OranguTang94 (Complaint board) (Damage trail) 15:57, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Seconded. Make it an overly contradictory satire. Nothing bitter Noopnurf, Noopiest of Nurfs 16:41, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Hey, how is this still unprotected?[edit source]
@DaniPine3: @MrX: @Alula: This article is a massive target for spammers and new users. Like, did you see the image that SRN01 plastered all over the article a couple days ago? Could someone please semi-protect it? Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ (vandalize my talk page) 16:11, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sure.
- Thank you very much. It was about time. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ
