Forum:New Poopsmiths?
So, I was wondering if you guys thought we needed a new poopsmith, what with the recent absense of Dexter. Saberwolf116 13:27, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Nom and For. As stated above, Dexter is gone ATM, and VFD is getting rather clogged up. Saberwolf116 13:27, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
For. Don't see why not. Vote for Saberwolf. --Romartus 13:31, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- This wasn't self-promotion, Lol. I think i'd do ok, but there are other users who would do a good job as well. Saberwolf116 13:33, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Against. - Let the Cabal decide if anything should be done.--Sycamore (Talk) 13:37, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- If there was a Cabal. Which there is not. Saberwolf116 13:42, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Cabal votes for. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 13:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Abstain. That thing that Mordillo said. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 18:11, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
a. I don't think we need new ones. We got three, we use to have one. b. We don't need to conduct yet another vote about this. If one of the admins feels there's a need for another or one of the current smiths think there's too much work, we can think of new smiths. ~ 13:55, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yeah? Well...umm...THAT'S WHAT UR MOM SED LAST NITE!!!! Saberwolf116 13:59, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- You're not helping. Mordillo is a smart guy. He wears glasses. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 14:07, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Your face.Beat that! Saberwolf116 14:08, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- You're asking me to beat your face? Why must you tempt me so? 20:55, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

- For. some admin appointing a 2nd poopsmith. --Mnb'z 16:13, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- We have 3 already. And Dex being away for a couple of weeks hardly counts as him leaving. ~ 18:05, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh well, we'll let the users decide. And then we'll let the admins crush their decision. Saberwolf116 18:16, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Abstain. I don't know what it is where you are, but here on Easter Island it's a long weekend, and therefore a poor time for crushing. Ideally I should be considerably less sober than I currently am. It's a state which I find unfamiliar and frightening. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 18:25, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- America > Polynesia. Saberwolf116 18:47, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know what that means, but I don't have polynesia. My problem is that I can't remember anything, not that I remember too many things. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 18:56, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Polynesia is where Easter Island is; it's a region in the Pacific. Shame on you, you bad tourist, you! Saberwolf116 19:04, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- My version, with its making a word mean what it could mean rather than what it does mean, is funnier. Your version, frankly, kind of sucks. I'll stick with mine. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 19:10, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- I cannot help wondering what you would have if you had USA instead of Polynesia. Sorry! -- Style Guide 19:47, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Er, I'm USA positive? --UU - natter 19:54, May 17
- Naw. I'm considerably wittier than that (Zing!). Granted, you're setting the bar awfully low (Snap!). Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:01, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- I never made any claim to be witty. I consider myself duly zung. --UU - natter 20:24, May 17

Back on topic. I'm a bit less committed to more poopsmiths after reading what Mordillo said, but VFD is getting pretty full... Saberwolf116 20:07, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Now, I might not be one of them "math wizards", but on VFD I count one thing to be archived. The problem, as with other votey pages, appears to be lack of voters. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:16, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- That's true, but there are also a lot of week old stalemates that need to be kept. Do Poopsmiths and Admins do that, or just the latter? Saberwolf116 20:24, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- I don't use hard time limits there. If it's been there for a couple of weeks and there's no clear decision, then I keep it. Then it gets archived. Then we have nachos! Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:34, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- What I mean is, can Poopsmiths Keep it? Saberwolf116 20:36, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Obviously not. Do you have any idea what they would do with that kind of power? (answer: Very little. Still, we can't take that chance). Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:52, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, I was just wondering. Saberwolf116 21:36, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

- Abstain. Relatively anti-VFD to some extent anyway. -- 00:22, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- To be quite honest, I don't think we need any more poopsmiths. Also, what Mordillo said. 20:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
