...Yeah. This is probably a really, really old topic, so I should probably apologise before we start anything. So, of all the Uncyclopedia articles, or ideas for articles, that you start writing, how many do you actually finish? And how do you know when to stop? Personally, I've got about six or seven half-finished articles floating around my hard drive, most of which I know will never see the light of day-which is dissapointing, considering the time and effort I've put into them, but you've gotta know when something not going to work, don't you? "...how many do you actually finish?"
- I finish most of them. Sometimes Sophia gives me a title and then leaves, or she leaves before I'm done writing, or the page gets finished, but sucks and never leaves my userspace. They can't all be golden. Just try to remember that it's not the destination that matters. Unless that destination is Christmasland. That place rocks! Woo! Go Christmasland!
"...And how do you know when to stop?"
- It's a wiki. You never stop. I've gone back to pages that were "done" a year or more earlier just to add or change a turn of phrase. If you mean "how do you know it's time to release them?", then it's the point where I'm moving commas. Damn you comma! No. Damn, you comma! No. Damn you, comma! That's better. By the way, is there something like a collaboration request page where you can throw out your deadend userspace articles for others to breathe some new life into and/or ridicule? --S0.S0S.0S.0S0 11:51, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
is there something like a collaboration request page?. Not that many people go there... It's got rather a low profile, as it's not really whored very much around the wiki... MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 19:06, Nov 14
Usually, if I did abandon ideas, I did it before starting the artikle. Like Modus said, you keep adjusting articles forever. Until you die. They're never really done. Also, hi guys. --THE 12:10, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I've sort of left a few articles at the point where I'm less than happy with them but lack inspiration to improve them to my satisfaction. I do fully intend to go back to them if I have a sudden spurt of creativity though. And there's a bunch of things I intend to tidy and ideas I intend to start as well, but they're just not happening at the moment. Does that count as fully abandoning? Guess it depends if inspiration ever strikes really. Also, hi THE! --UU - natter UU Manhole.gif 16:20, Nov 14
I'm with UU here, I have abandoned about 15% of articles I started... I don't know if I'll ever go back to them. Necropaxx (T) {~} 16:29, Nov 21
