Dream[1] (born 1999) is an American YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and "musician" known for creating fake speedruns and scripted, boring manhunts that always seem to mostly match all his older videos in what is known as the 2nd greatest video game in all time, second only to Pizza Tower. (If I want to watch the same video over and over, I'd find a better YouTuber.) He also did his face reveal at the worst time. His face reveal is the cause of the power outages in Iran. Also my blind father thought Dream was ugly.
His music "career" is downright unlistenable, so much that it makes Lewis Capaldi and Chris Brown's discographies sound like masterpieces.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Dream was born to his parents[citation needed] somewhere in the United States, although his dad left him at a young age [Citation not needed at all; thank you very much]. He has a younger sister known to others as Drista. Not much else is known about his life, but based on his song, "Mask" he was a crybaby. It is also said that he is not normal, even rejecting his normal pills, which is very stupid, as it should help him live a better life. Due to not being normal, he is very scared to go outside, preferring to stay at his mattress and hasn't seen the light in ages. He is very misunderstood because people seeing him will only ask, "Why are you so sad, kid?". It is also unknown if he is hiding a true form, since he always wears a mask.
Career[edit | edit source]
YouTube[edit | edit source]
In YouTube, he usually creates videos relating to Minecraft. Which are usually speedruns or manhunts featuring his closest friends, including GudGurlHalo[2], Sapnapingas[3], and 404[4]. He is also the host of a Christian Minecraft Server, but they always break the rules by swearing and doing other inappropriate things. They're going to hell, according to The Bibble.
Music[edit | edit source]
He also has a career in music. So far, he has written three songs. He debuted with "Roadtrip", and became popular through the song "Mask", which isn't about masks, but about his not normal life. His latest song is "Change my Clothes", which is probably kinda sus. All songs were ranked #69[5] in all music streaming apps only for the first second of their releases. It was revealed that Dream had been signed to Mercury Records for no good reason at some point in 2023. He would release his debut EP on September 1, 2023. No one asked for this. Also, just like Joji, he decided to no longer be a YouTuber and become a singer. Except Joji's way better anyways, unlike Dream. It's so bad that Anthony Fantano rated it a NOT GOOD/10. When your debut EP as a former YouTuber gets a NOT GOOD from the melon himself, you know your music career is absolute garbage.
Dream also went on tour and performed in large cities in the United States, including Los Angeles, California. These concerts, also known as "droncerts" will be some of the worst concerts you've been to. There are people who know all the lyrics to his songs as if they're super fans (in which they are, obviously). At one point in the tour he asked his fans to complete one of the songs in the setlist because he doesn't want to sing the rest anymore. Most of the time he will not wear the mask, which is ironic considering the fact that he "unrevealed" himself.
Fanbase[edit | edit source]
As of now, Dream has a very large fandom, which are known as "Dream stans", composed of mostly children, manchildren, and teenagers. Most of them are also cringy e-girls and e-boys who want Dream to step on them. They are known to be extreme crybabies like him, and usually regard him as a legendary figure or deity. They are also known to threaten people who have no idea about him and create fanart that doesn't even look like him, often drawing him being in a relationship with other members of his squad. They can't accept facts because their tiny, miniscule brains aren't designed to do such a thing.
Dream stans are generally yaoi fangirls as well.
Controversies[edit | edit source]
Speedrun cheating[edit | edit source]
It was revealed that Dream cheated, and his manhunt videos are rigged for his favor, since he is obviously the main character of his imagination. He also uses mods in some of his videos and claims that they are a real feature.
"Mask" controversy[edit | edit source]
During the release of his song, "Mask", many people hated it, especially Karens and other anti-maskers just because of the mentioning of the word "mask" as the word is extremely offensive to their kind. Others hated it because of the animation style, and because of a scene that encourages wasting resources, through throwing away the normal pills. Normalists also hate said scene due to Dream not wanting to be normal.
Toxic fanbase[edit | edit source]
The fanbase has a reputation of being extremely toxic and cringy[6]. The crime rate rose by 420%[7] due to Dream stans causing gang wars with others and sending threats to some of those who don't know about Dream.
Face reveal[edit | edit source]
When Dream took off the mask, it wiped out nearly half of the world because Dream was too ugly to exist. It became so bad that every time Dream was unmasked, people's faces would explode. It became so bad that he decided to put the mask back on, but he then took it off during performances, which is a terrible idea to begin with.
End of the Dream SMP[edit | edit source]
On April 10, 2023, one of Dream's friends, Tommyinnit posted a tweet saying that the Dream SMP is officially over. Despite all of his fanbase being upset over the Dream SMP being over, it actually was the beginning of eternal peace in the Minecraft community. No one wants to see shitty scripted "entertainment" anymore, unless you're a Dream stan.
