I would mind a whole lot more than if he did it with images like before; external images are one of my big admin pet peeves. Also, I really don't see how the images are any better at all than the text; they look nearly identical. With a little more CSS magic, they could probably look completely identical. Also, from Lugiatm's standpoint, the text is a whole lot easier to manage if he wants to change the colors or add an awad or something. Images containing styled text are always pointless. If he really wants the images, I'm not going to ban him for using them, I just figured the text was easier, faster loading and better. --Sir gwax (talk) 04:16, 10 Jan 2006 (UTC)

IRC revolution

Personally, I prefer a system where the administrators have direct control over their wikis, and fear keeps the members in line. I'd only want to ban the admins in the event that I was one of them. Tweaking admins' pages Considered Harmful

Your addition of a "Meow" Babel box to my user page was cute, and I'll have to keep it in mind. However, since I'm an Admin ($DEITY_NAME only knows why), it could have gotten you banned, since edits to admins' user pages are usually vandalistic in nature. I wouldn't have banned you for adding "Meow", but if one of my fellow admins happens to see that you were playing around there, they could. To prevent that, I've reverted the change so that nobody notices. It'll be our little secret. Next time, though, you might suggest the addition on the person's Talk page. -- Sir BobBobBob ! S ?
