So...this is my TALK PAGE. TALK to me on it. DON'T dump crap on it because you might be stupid enough not to realize that THIS IS NOT THE VILLAGE DUMP. Only I'M aloud to dump crap on it cause I'm better than you.

Hello[edit source]

I'm surprised no one has given you one of those big welcome templates yet with so many links and homework reading lists on them that they probably chase away lots of red link users. Good to meet you. I wouldn't dump carp on your page, oh, you said dump crap, not carp. I wouldn't do that. If some of your edits get reversed at first, don't let discouragment become your mother, and a frown turned upside down is still a frown, it just looks better and is easier to stick stuff in. Lots to do here, and lots of good people. Explore recent changes for the behind-the-curtain stuff, and if you fix some pages that are on fix lists you will be honored and given things. Enjoy! An IP did the p.s.[edit source]

Hi. Checked the history, some IP vandal found you. And used me like a cheap whore (mom?). Thanks for the alert. Aleister 22:59 20-2-'12

Discussion Page[edit source]

Not good to remove comments from your discussion page. It's only done if someone does post real crap on your page, issues a threat or spams links to dubious websites for the one handed. Reading the stuff above, I don't see any of those comments fitting into that category. Your user page is yours to mess around but discussion pages are considered part of the general site and shouldn't be blanked. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 23:24, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

I am also reposting the welcome message originally left on your discussion page which you chose to delete. This has important information for all noobs.--Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 23:35, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Welcome![edit source]

Hello, Alex Devens, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Alex Devens/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  Talk Mattsnow 19:10, January 29, 2012 (UTC)

Purple[edit source]

Thanks for agreeing with me that the article Purple deserves mainspace, but it was victimized by a fix tag. If something around here gets tagged with a fix tag, it generally has 30 days to either be fixed up by someone, be moved to userspace, or get deleted. Please help fix it up, ie make it funnier, improve grammar and spelling, and the like. Some more general suggestions: I'd recommend that you monitor VFD for articles you like so that you can vote to save them and/or also copy those into your userspace for fixing in case they get voted out of mainspace. Also, check with an admin in most cases before moving articles from someone elses userspace to mainspace. There's usually a reason that they were userspaced (such as giving something extended time to work on it, or archiving an article that wasn't considered good enough for mainspace). Finally, be sure to check your watchlist regularly. That way you know somebody else (usually an IP) isn't messing up your article too badly. Use the talk page of the article if you have a difference of opinion on what's funny. If its a user, use their talk page or the article's talk page to discuss changes if you have a difference of opinion. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 05:24, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

User:Alex Devens/UnNews:Wikipedia "sources" create misinformation[edit source]

Hey, I've seen you blanked your article when it was in main-space, signaling that you don't want to work on it anymore. I'm not too sure, which is why I ask of your permission to Q.F.V.D that article. Deal, or no deal? -- UserTalkContributions 14:11, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

Hi[edit source]

Edit warring is quite bad, especially when its with the sysops. If you have a serious problem with it, talk to the user instead of just blindly reverting them. Persistent edit warring will get you a ban. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Proudly bogan 23:12, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

I wasn't necessarily edit warring, and I'll let my edits get reverted at this point.Flag placeholder.svg I sort of talked about it, and I'll go check for messages on Talk:You.

P.S. Now that I hear it, my edit was pretty stupid. Flag placeholder.svg
