Ruby & Cobalt
Ruby and Cobalt, according to canon, are the forms of Hikaru and Akane in the Dark Dimension who have to be fought before entering a dangerous world. Nontheless, this userpage is infamous for describing multiple realities for which the women existed without deciding on which sect is most accurate.
Creation[edit | edit source]
Following the division of Gofer, the result of the division (the Gofer Sisters) created Ruby and Cobalt in order to carry on with the plans of the big brain overminds. Before they could carry out their plans, they needed a ship to use against the Angel Squadron so they were given Metal Slave from Salamander in order to move on with the task. Depending on how the appointed does, they were defeated in the heat of intense combat. And others ask, "Where are they now?" This is the documentation.
Personality[edit | edit source]
The twosome differ from Hikaru and Akane in a variety of ways, including their personality. They (R&C) are a bit snide, yet retain their optimism. The time spent in the dark dimension probably made them a bit somber, like a scene kid. Other times, they are rebellious with a penchant for vandalism and causing other forms of chaos. With this data, a conclusion was drawn which states that they are evil clones of their formers. Aren't robots amazing?
Afterlife[edit | edit source]
AKA Where Are They Now?
Here comes the part that gets confusing. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Theory 1[edit | edit source]
Hikaru and Akane Die At The End
Following their defeat at the hands of the Angel Squadron, Ruby and Cobalt fall into a mysterious portal which sends them to modern times in a similar fashion to how Princess Giselle was able to enter New York City in the film Enchanted. On Earth, they wander around for a little while before making a plan to assimilate amongst the American people without their identities being compromised by weeaboos and otakus. After a week, they volunteer to become Playboy Playmates- contradicting their previous plans of not getting spotted. They successfully make it, for no one noticing that they were androids. On one night, Cobalt went around the Playboy mansion and bonked Hugh Hefner over the head with a lamp as a practical joke. The identity of the two was eventually discovered and they were laid off because he couldn't find a clear action due to their mechanical nature.
Theory 2[edit | edit source]
Ruby and Cobalt Get Made
Taken from Athena Asamiya:
“ | That training would come in handy, as a race of aliens who were a bunch of jerks came to Earth and started invading. So, Gentsai had them both go into action, with Athena singing her theme song while killing the aliens and at one point they blew up a building full of people. But it didn't matter, they were all going to die at some point anyway. After destroying the alien menace by singing him to death, the Psycho Soldiers were given a medal... then promptly exiled away from Japan. | ” |
Please note that this was done to help give readers a better idea as to how the twosome behaived in their next trip.
On April 1, 2011, the same Japanese people who build real giant mechs decided to try something new: build fully functional humanoid robots. Looking at what's trending at the time, they looked to Ruby and Cobalt for inspiration. Three months later, the androids are complete. How did they get them done? How were they able to produce androids capable of realistic human interaction of a modest size? Well, these guys looked to the Vocaloids and the Terminator for ideas as to how these androids are made. Consequently, these gals were torture-tested to ensure that they would be like humans with android benefits. Excellent! With a combination of Vocaloids and the Terminator being inspiration for their creation, something bad would result.
Following their creation, Ruby and Cobalt would be taken to tech exhibitions across Japan and around the rest of the world to show off their prowess. Of course, the gaijin would find comfort with a figure that they can bone that's at least alive in a way. The benefits from their creation would lead to a rise in the develpoment of mannequins and other utility bots, as described in this article. When they went to the United States though...
“I have done it before, and I will do it again. I'm going to fucking kill Ruby and Cobalt.”
During E3 2011 (or Spike's VGAs circa 2011), Apple Inc. gained control of the twosome and plan to use them to spy on Microsoft in order to boost their Mac sales. During their latest stint, they were discovered by a meager IT guy and Steve gained sight of this situation. It did not end well. They were sent back to Japan and they were given a small spaceship to go and fight the Angel Squadron, repeating the imminent cycle of R&C.
In The Representatives[edit | edit source]
R&C also have a role in the Representatives for a variety of reasons and one of them has something to do with the lack of moe anthropomorphism in Terraria and they would come close to such a product (and we have their names to consider). They stand for the reckless side of all players, male or female, and to quesition things like Hollywood values with a BANG! They can prove to be a substitute, if not, a replacement for Hikaru and Akane as representatives or join forces and spread the gift amongst the populace together in another dimension. Seriously, this is starting to get a bit confusing.
