HowTo talk:Be at one with the universe
From Pee Review (Now with nudity!)[edit source]
I tried to make a how-to, one different from what appears to be the standard format for how-to's awhile ago. Now that RadX has gone and made Forum:How to: Write a recently featured article, lamenting cookie-cutterism (w00t, new word!), I'm hoping that this is different. Different good, not different bad. Keep in mind that this was written right after Pulp Novel, so it meanders both to and fro. Opinions?--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:57, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Humour: | 8 | Wins a laugh out loud. The intro is fantastic and the article just gets better. |
Concept: | 9 | A How-To in a conceptual wrapper that I didn't get until the end. |
Prose and formatting: | 9 | Smooth as hell. |
Images: | 7 | I hardly noticed them with the prose. |
Miscellaneous: | 9 | n/a |
Final Score: | 42 | I think it's cooked and ready to serve. |

Thanks. I guess I broke the mold. Luckily, in a good way. I'd explain it better, but I have no idea how or why it turned out this way; the original "plan" was the same title/subject, but having something to do with bellybuttons...--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 05:32, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

- If my simple eightish point plan has helped you to be at one with the universe, then the universe is much simpler than I thought. Much, much simpler. I probably could've gotten away with six points. Maybe four. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:11, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Still awesome.[edit source]
Modus, this is one of your best articles. MegaPleb • Dexter111344 • Complain here 20:53, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I like breaking the entrenched (dare I say, "standardized"?) format of things. In addition, "sombrero" is both a funny word and a funny hat, making it the hat equivalent of comedy gold. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:12, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
