Forum:Something something
Something is messing up various things across the site. I suspect Wikia is behind it.
17:59, 13 January 2010Well...
It seems some of the stuff is back to normal. Not all of it though (just click the first result). Also, [[Talk:Talk:Incompleteness Theorem|Penis]]. 20:40, 13 January 2010

The problem might be on your end. Did you check the settings on that program? --Mn-z 05:40, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Settings on what program?
- The thing that is causing the various bad things to happen, obviously. --Mn-z 15:58, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, either it's Firefox or it's Wikia's latest "improvements".
- Are you sure that other thing isn't causing the stuff to happen? --Mn-z 16:10, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Nah. That other thing could have no effect on my computer at all. Rather, it's having an effect on something completely different.
- Is it the same thing that made my hair all frizzy? Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:40, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes it is!

- Alright, I'll use this other thing that does exactly the opposite to negate the frizziness. 22:21, 14 January 2010
- Ah yes, good ol' Frankie Lippshitz. What ever happened to that guy? -OptyC Sucks! CUN22:23, 14 Jan
- Who?
- The guy who wasn't Simon, duh. -OptyC Sucks! CUN22:35, 14 Jan
- You mean Art Garfunkel?
- No, Frankie Lippshitz. Who the hell is Art Garfunkel? -OptyC Sucks! CUN22:44, 14 Jan
- I don't know about either one, so you tell me.
- The guy who wasn't Simon from Simon & Garfunkel played Captain Nately in Catch-22. If that doesn't clear things up for you, I need to get some newer references. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:33, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Getting back on topic, was that thing causing that thing or was it the other thing. --Mn-z 03:56, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

In conclusion, the problem you were referring to, that the search results are double-url-encoding the "?" character, which should encode to %3F but the "%" in the link is being encoded again to give %253F, giving a bad title error, and the inclusion of the unescaped "?" character in the url causes mediawiki to treat it and everything after it not as part of the article title, but as arguments to index.php, all thereby interfering with articles which have the "?" character in their titles, is, of course, wikia's fault. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 01:36, 20 Jan 2010
- Not to forget the [[Talk:Talk:Incompleteness Theorem|Talk:Talk]]s, which are, of course, also 's fault. 01:42, 20 January 2010
