- It's not a problem for me, because instead of typing --~~~~ like a commoner, I'm awesome and actually type into the page --{{User:SimulacrumCaputosis/sig#}}~~~~~. I save my four-tilde bit for just a plain signature, in case I post a comment in a thread I've already been actively discussing, so my sig doesn't kill too many eyes. --Cap'n SimzorzAr, Matey!19:11, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I hope Uncyclopedia never puts a ban on outrageous signatures. I mean, if you can't have them here, where else? UnFun!! --NERD42 EMAIL TALK H2G2 PEDIA NEWS 17:05, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- For everyone unaware of the other thread or too lazy to go to it, I quote:
Since the upgrade, I've seen a lot of users' sigs spilling out onto the discussion pages. Here's how you fix it:
- Create a second subpage that references the first. For example, if your sig is at User:Me/sig, the second page would contain only {{User:Me/sig}}.
- Put the second page in your signature preferences instead of your real one.
The current version of MediaWiki seems to preface any template inclusion in your signature with SUBST:, but it doesn't check whether that template has any inclusions itself. By putting your signatures two layers deep, you can keep them from being exposed.--Algorithm (talk) 20:55, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
