I know most here will say there's no point in going back to Wikia, but this guy blocked me FOR CHANGING THE SPELLING OF A WORD immediately after I was unblocked. "Wiki Hitler" is right.--Chip Brown (talk) 12:42, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

Well, SPIKE is a dick-tator after all so... 13:03, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
He is the main reason that site is still healthy, and the main reason people leave it too. Leverage (talk) 19:59, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
He might as well call it 'Spikipedia'. 21:16, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi Chip. Unfortunately you're not the only person who has been treated unfairly by Spike, to the point where there's even a list of people who left the Wikia site entirely because of him. Spike essentially sees the Wikia site as his own personal playground and if anybody does even the slightest thing that he personally doesn't like, he'll basically try to sweep it under the rug, block the user in question and pretend it never happened. He even tries to pretend that this site doesn't even exist (you mentioning it on Wikia = instant block), even going as far to dub the admins/original creators of Uncyclopedia prior to leaving Wikia as "trolls". Leverage is correct in saying that although he is the one keeping the Wikia site alive, he's also the main reason that people are leaving. I think you'll be much happier contributing to this site, as you're a lot less likely to have each individual edit nitpicked, and needless to say I hope you do stick around and become a valuable member of our community. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! The community should write a collab poem about him. MyOwnBadSelf (talk) 00:01, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

I agree with Lost Lab. If you were upset about your treatment there, just forget it and have fun here. Much more fun that going on about it all the time. --Leverage (talk) 10:32, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Was that sarcasm? Because I think it was. 08:14, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
UnSPIKElopedia anyway, surely? --Leverage (talk) 10:32, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
Nah, Spikipedia sounds better. 10:40, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Unnecessary Ego-Polishing for Anally-Retentive Talentless Spunk-Bubble

I'm sure Mr Spike will love to discover that he has had enough impact that people are still whinging about the way he has pretty much single-handedly reduced the Wikia version of Uncyc into a fascist state of the unfunny with himself as its glorious leader. I would imagine, in his own self-aggrandising mind, that he would take this as proof that his methods are right and justified. I began editing Uncyclopedia in 2005 and since then I've seen all kinds of interesting, committed people contributing to the site in a myriad of ways. Some admins during that time had a hard-edged approach, but they were still approachable, things might have become heated from time to time but there was a mutual respect along with the understanding that you need a wide church of humour, experience and methods of dealing with people for the whole thing to work. If Mr Spike has proved anything to me its that it IS possible to suck the enjoyment out of anything if you are closed-minded and methodical enough. Ultimately, and despite what is clearly his firm belief that he is working for the betterment of the site, he is responsible for the continuing exodus of talented and hardworking contributors. There's only so long that you can keep doing that before all you have left are the random dregs of passing users with little to no interest or commitment to Uncyclopedia's long term future. That Wikia allow this to continue says more about how they view the site. To them usage figures are more important than quality and community. Presumably having a humour-bereft angry janitor in the form of Mr Spike to clean up some of the mess suits their long term plans. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Again.

I edited a page on the Wikia, where I changed double-spaced letters to single-spaced, and also made some capitalization/formatting fixes. He then he reverted it and explained that some (like him) wrote with typewriters and preferred double-spacing. I said fine, then went back and edited the article again, this time without the spacing changes. He blocked me and said "Revert war, you lose", despite the fact that I didn't do anything he told me not to do.

Holy shit, he gives a new meaning to the words "nitpicky" and "stingy". Like goddamn. I like his sense of humor and he's written some great material, but every time I edit an article I'm highly nervous he'll block me, and usually I'm right.--Chip Brown (talk) 00:53, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

I am confused. A) I checked the wikia block log, so you are epic winner? Why the new user name? B) If you have been around that long, why are you still surprised by all this? Leverage (talk) 08:12, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
