Forum:New namespace
The possibility of a vanity namespace has been brought up before, and now I'd like to seriously consider the issue. Of course we want a name for the namespace that won't discourage people or make them put their vanity in the article namespace anyways. As a clarification, this would be for allowed vanity.
So I propose moving all the allowed vanity articles to their own namespace, and I'd like you to propose a name! --KATIE!! 16:50, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

I say leave things that are acceptable vanity in the main namespace. Someone goes and writes about their high school, nobody'll care but the main namespace is the right place for it (unless it totally sucks, then the right place for it is Special:Log/delete). --Sir gwax (talk)

We have User Subpages, you know. User subpages is a place to write vanity as long as you don't write it in the article namespace.--Jtaylor1
