- Dern it, why is "the origin of Holy Cheese...shrouded in mystery" and why does the first paragraph never come out and say what the heck it the Holy Cheese is? This is not seemly, and it happens in far too many otherwise excellent articles. Our purpose is to misinform, not to waffle and duck the issues. We are called upon to lie -- to lie forthrightly, with clarity, and with specific detail. "The Holy Cheese is a kind of gouda which is aged in the Caves of Gesthemane. The first Holy Cheese was made by Christ Himself from the milk of a virgin red heifer -- a miraculous origin indeed, as virgin cows do not naturally lactate. Thus the Hand of God, the All-Milking Dairyman, moved with mystery and majesty in the creation of this cheese." This is a good article, but please: make it better. Thank you. - I apologize (somewhat) for the outburst. I would really like to see this article succeed; I really think the main author(s) has talent, writerly skill, and good ideas; but still...I am quite perturbed by the tendency of articles to duck fundamental questions about their subject. ----OEJ 23:56, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
