Why must this site be so mean? I am a beautiful black woman with a disabled child whom is in a wheelchair and has sickle cell(which by the way is hereditary among Mediterranean decent as well). You have so many opinions about us which are based only off of videos and the news. I understand that we have some rotten apples in our race but don't all races have bad people too? That does not account for all of us as a whole. We spend so much of our time putting down others unintelligently that it is very disheartening. I am an R.N with a Masters in nursing. it makes me cry to see my baby in this condition, which by the way there are millions of white families dealing with disabled childern who so happen to have hereditary traits and illnesses that are exclusive to European decent only. I have feelings and am able to use critical thinking as well as intellect in order to understand how and why these feelings exist, unlike some of you racist people think. Shame on you all for being so narrow minded and heartless. I give my all to take care of those who need help and try my best to treat people well only to come here and read such hateful things based on stereotypes. We are all tired of the lazy/criminal-minded derilects in this society(just like the lazy/criminal-minded /meth consuming derilects in your race.) So in conclusion: the same way you label the underclass whites seperately and understand that they do not make up your race as a whole will you please find the intelligence to grasp that it does not make up ours as well? Call them "underclass blacks",or whatever name you want so long as you don't clump us all together under one name which is black people. Yes, all races have bad apples, as you say. Indeed, all of humanity does. And since this site can be edited by anyone, all of humanity comes here, including the mugnuggets and pond life. Look at your own persuasive argument and use the good people for inspiration, as there's a lot of good "apples" too. Focus on them, and ignore the others. I know I do. Well, I try. There have been regularly occurring disruptive edits by Kike77 to Black People, Arab, and a variety of other race-related articles. Personally, I think the only way racism should ever be used here is to parody the falsehood of racism, either by pointing it out to be patently absurd and contradictory, or by reversing its beliefs in a way that demonstrates its absurdity. Any article that merely communicates racist belief without satiric intent is not humor but is hate speech and should not be here; I believe that people have the right to believe in whatever they want, even false beliefs like racism, but this is a humor and satire website, and posts that merely express racism without the intent of parody simply don't belong here, just like a serious discussion of chemistry doesn't belong here. I make a habit of referring users who don't get this to the white nationalism wiki with the suggestion they "go play over there" and leave us alone. So far it seems to be working.

The judgment between humorous and acceptable, and non humorous and therefore off topic for uncyclopedia, is often subjective, however, and it's important for people to be aware of the necessary impact of some content upon certain people's sensibilities. Accepting that this is a humor site, and nobody is here against their will, it is inevitable that a certain amount of material that addresses racism and similar hateful beliefs will be parodied and those parodies, even if humorous and insightful to one person, could be hateful to someone else who either doesn't understand the joke, or who is offended nonetheless. This is why Uncyclopedia:Content Disclaimer was written. In the quest to parody, offense is inevitable at times, but when a topic is made off limits for the sake of avoiding offense, we run a risk of censorship and, ironically, an increase in the risk of people believing in false ideas because we are afraid to discuss and ridicule them they way they deserve to be.

Thank you for letting us know your views on this subject, and any material that is racist in intent rather than parodic in intent should be removed, but like I said the question is subjective and needs to be carefully considered on a situational basis. --Hrodulf 17:53, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

A number of well-spoken users have put it very well: Satires skewering racism are appropriate here; serious intentional racism is not. That said, satire classically points out the "folly of man" and so it will, of necessity, make fun of people...sometimes groups of people. One might write good and useful satire aimed at woman-hating black rappers, for instance, or at murderous Israeli Jewish hardliners. In such cases it is all too easy to be perceived as attacking blacks or Jews. And I truly believe that it is very very very very difficult to write anything that will mean exactly the same thing to a reader as it does to the writer. But yeah. I'd respectfully submit that UnNews:Jews take over is an example of this sort of thing being done in the proper way. It parodies several classical tenets of anti-semitic propaganda, showing how absurd and ridiculous they are by demonstrating what an unlikely and ridiculous scenario would have to come to pass for them to be literally true. It is an attack on racism and its propaganda, rather than a sincere expression of it, and that's the difference. --Hrodulf 02:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

This greatly reminds me of an article I wrote some time ago entitled Sand Nippers, which intentionally sounds a lot like that word you're not supposed to say unless you're black or Eminem--anyways, it was about arabs and all the stereotypes associated with them. Some people found it quite amusing, though it was shortly huffed after being posted on VFP, mostly on allegations of racism. What people didn't realize, like some above posts mention, that it was just a satire on the stupidity of racism and anti-middle east sentiment, but it was just to blatant and vehement, I suppose. Hell, I was gonna write another race-themed article at this moment, but now I'm thinking it's not too good an idea. My point is, a lot of the stuff on Uncyclopedia may come off as racist, but keep in mind the majority of this is just people trying to get a good laugh out of a controversial issue, and any genuinely racist content should be discernable from satire. All in all, if you're gonna browse through a place like uncyc, you gotta expect some controversy and offensive material, but enough is enough. --Señor DiZtheGreat  CUN AOTM ( Worship me!)
