WKTU 108.1 FM is a Radio Station licensed to Lake Failure,a suburb of New York City.The station broadcasts a Alternative Rock Format. The station is Owned by Mr.Radio,and is famous for being Donald Trump and Jimmy Neutron’s favorite station.The call signs stand for: We are Kancerous (Cancerous) To yoU!

As WSKQ and a NBC Radio Station[edit | edit source]
Originally the station was known as WSKQ when it first launched in 1950,on 94.9 and Became a part of the NBC Radio Section of NBC.In 1951 The Station had to Go Silent for 6 Months because Patrick Star Destroyed the Transmitter by doing a Wumbo Joke.WSKQ Returned on the Air Later on that year.
As WUHH[edit | edit source]
Due to the Fact that WSKQ was underperforming compared to it’s sister stations,the Station got thrown out of the NBC club in 1964 and had to go it’s own way, launching a mixed Country/Kpop Format a day later.Changing it’s Call Sign to WUHH meaning: UHH,why should I listen to this station?The Station got Striked down by both God and the FCC at the Same time in 1965.
As WEWG[edit | edit source]
Forced to change it’s format to a Religious one.Along with a new call sign: WEWG.Standing for: WE Worship God after once again being forced to go silent for another 5 years, with going religious in 1970 now on 108.1.The station later in 1989 after a while in the format switched to a Country format again with the same call sign.
As a Country Station[edit | edit source]
The Station was doing not okay as a country station because it refused to Promote itself.this caused the station to perform badly enough that it was forced to go Dead in 1995.
As a Silent Station[edit | edit source]
Nothing much happened,the Station was essentially never heard of again for most people.Until…
As WKTU[edit | edit source]
The station aired the monitor of a dying person,then announced it’s new format,an Alternative Rock format on WKTU,it’s new format caused it to be the #1 station,but that was only because of Bribery by Mr.Radio,the station’s new owner.
WKTU Today[edit | edit source]
WKTU today is performing okay,but not as good as it once was.It also hopped onto the HD Radio Trend and Put up a 2nd HD Radio subchannel in honor of it’s former Country format and a 3rd Air1 format in honor of it’s former Religious format.

WKTU-HD1[edit | edit source]
HD1 consists of Alt. rock,the station says: “Rocking so hard your Windows will crack open and fall off.”It’s believed that this station is what causes people’s Cars to break down,especially the Windows.The station also has a Jazzy SundayTM.

HD2 consists of Country music.HD2 is often played by some during protests against stuff like Mask Mandates and Donald Trump speeches.HD2 is considered to be the least popular HD Subchannel in the United States,with people claiming it to be the Equivalent of Listening to a Bass-Boosted song while having headphones turned to the max.

HD3 consists of Air1,which is essentially just Christianity and Worship Stuff on radio.Not even those at Wikipedia care,but some people do,mostly Christians who felt like listening to Christian Radio,although those Christians are what prevents HD3 from being on the same level as HD2.Although there have been proposals to remove the format and replace it with an MeTV radio format,but because Boomers are using Facebook more than Radio,it’s unlikely this will happen.

HD4 is a Whole Wheat Radio Affiliate,broadcasting tips on how to grow food.Otherwise it instead airs songs made for or have fallen down into the Public Domain.

the 2002 and 2006 Car Protest[edit | edit source]
Due to HD1 Causing car issues,People rallied together to protest WKTU and to try to shut down WKTU during 2002. But they failed due to tear gas and the fact that Toyota,BMW,and Other Car Companies Didn’t support it.In fact they actually supported WKTU.They Tried again in 2006 and received no success.

Due to Viacom,WKTU had to shut down for a full day in July 13 2009 due to the fact that the Intro to Spongebob Squarepants was played by someone while they were telling people the Weather.
