Well you did pretty dismal. Several offences that could result in a ban, stupidity, unfunnyness. Yes, you had a lousy start, but don't worry. I think I'll adopt you in the Adopt a noob program we have here. You'd of course have to accept that proposition and I of course would have to sign up for the program as an adopter myself, But these are trivialities. Just imagine what fun we could have together, Master and noob!. I could teach you on how the world is, in fact, not 10000 years old and that we did evolve from an ape like ancestor. We could joyfully talk for hours and hours how damage inflicted by swearing is so much less worst then the horrific terror and mental handicaps that religion lay upon gullible people. Ow ,well sorry, but I already did. And nothing is changing this because my religion states that once adoption is irreversible bond between adopter and adoptee. But see, here we are having the exact fun I predicted we would have. And I am happy to say that you are, in fact, correct on the topic that ID is not Creationism. You see whereas Creationism originates of ignorance, misunderstanding of science or even science agnosticism Intelligent design is the purpose driven intentional misuse/rape of Science, fact, logic and tolerance the world shows for frivolous dogma's( which should stop for us to survive ). But now that we have cleared that out of the way let me show some proper mentor-ship. Why don't you write an article between Creationism and ID. "I will tolerate all jokes except religious and sexual jokes, and cussing." I'm sorry to have to break this to you, but 99.9% of the jokes are like the ones you just described. A family-friendly version of the website would look like this. I'm probably right when I say that most, if not all of the people who read this site are high school students and adults who hear stuff like this all the time anyway. I am a bit of a newb yet... How exactly do I know when someone's crossed the line? Exactly how far can I expect to get with my crusade against cussing?

As I see it, when someone takes to attacking my character, they're trolling/flaming and I should ignore them, and although I can take out random profanity, I shouldn't expect to be able to take away cussing that serves a purpose (ha) and certainly not look foward to any new rules against cursing. That's pretty much it, to be honest. People legitimately debating your point are just arguing their case, but people coming to your talk page leaving profanity hoping to get a reaction are just trolling. The latter you ignore!

The example you gave in the forum topic, I would even take out myself, given the choice. But there are several places where the profanity serves a purpose, and adds to the humour. Just think to yourself, "If I remove this profanity, am I improving the article, or just removing the profanity?", and you should be fine. And I think most people here would agree that they are not the same thing!

But (getting to my original point), if you feel someone is coming to you just to troll you, or just to get a reaction from you, and not to make a constructive point, just leave a message on my talk page or something and I'll check it out and deal with it for you. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 01:01, 27 May 2007

my retarded friend left a hole lot of profanity in my name. i didn't know he did that . he's an idiot.
