Welcome![edit source]

Hello, Reverse Genocide Cockatrices, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Reverse Genocide Cockatrices/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you want to write and don't know where to begin, consider contributing to Uncyclopedia's current colonization of the week, a group writing project to improve a single popular article. Anyone is welcome to contribute, so come help out!

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  --Andorin Kato 07:52, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

A potentially unnecessary protip[edit source]

Proper usage syntax for the ICU template is as follows:

{{ICU|~~~~~|fix=MESSAGE|sub=OPTION}}

Where MESSAGE is a custom message you'd like displayed in the ICU box and OPTION is one of the built-in categories like "notfunny." A list of those can be found here. (If you don't want to display a custom message just leave the |fix=MESSAGE part out of the template.)

The reason I post this is because I saw your ICU on Weeaboo and figured you might like a little help. --Andorin Kato 20:58, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

I had forgotten this. --Reverse Genocide Cockatrices 06:02, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

I've been trying to figure out[edit source]

How to make sense of your username. And I gave up after a severe seizure I had. So I just decided to like it and give up on the meaning. ~Jewriken.GIF 12:51, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

Post apocalypse[edit source]

Thanks for the encouragement. OK, I worked pretty carefully on this. I had a lot of pee-schooling. It's about nothing so I don't want to be lengthy. Long articles drive me crazy! If you like it now, please put it before the host of gods at VFH. Cheers--Funnybony 21:46, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

How about this filled-out version?[edit source]

Would you e so kind as to help me with "feature worthiness"? I don't know how to please all of the people (VFH) some of the time, or even, for that matter, ever.--Funnybony 02:29, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot![edit source]

H1N1 influenza virus.jpg You voted to make H1N1 a front-page story!

Exposing millions to fear and spreading paranoia! And now the story has mutated! Misinformation everywhere! ...thanks a lot!!!

Post Apocalypse[edit source]

I don't know if it's feature worthy, but it's now much better, and pretty complete. If you have time, please take a look and let me know. Best--Funnybony 11:45, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

You Get A Template Too!![edit source]

AnimatedSpiral2.gif WELCOME TO VORTEX 102

The first semester will cover the entire spectrum of human biological vortices, with the first quarter focusing exclusively on the colonic vortex. In this animated simulation, the event horizon (colon) can be clearly distinguished. Unlike the hydraulic, atmospheric and gravitational vortex, the biological vortices aren't open ended systems with dubious conclusions as to where the crap goes in and comes out. Since biological systems are easily identifiable and make for an easy study, we'll be spending a lot of time on them. By understanding the biological vortices, we may glean insight into the larger picture. The foundation of all knowledge starts with the colonic vortex so study this animated gif for no less than an hour a day for the next week.
Thank You!

Awesome, isn't it. Thanks! --DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  16:43, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

It's because you voted FOR this article. It's a tradition to send amusing or perhaps inane thank you messages when said article makes the front page. You've been tagged! --DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  14:09, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

Hey, you voted for my article on VFH and helped make it a feature.[edit source]

And I'm too lazy to make a proper template for it. Thanks! sausage lol 19:01, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

Your ban[edit source]

You got a two-hour ban from UU. His explanation for it was: "It's about him finding a crappy little one line stub, and instead of QVFDing it, replacing it with text to the effect that it sucked but he couldn't be bothered to QVFD it. That's somewhat unhelpful, in my view, y'know what I mean? Maybe 2 hours was a little much, but I saw that glib little message and was pissed off." In other words, if you see a short, shitty new pages, throw it in the QVFD. Otherwise, don't fuck with it and let somebody else do it. To make it easier to add shit to the QVFD (if you haven't done this already): go to your preferences, hit the "Gadgets" tab, and on the bottom in the "Maintenance gadgets" sections check "QuickVFD - add tabs to the top of each page to add it to Uncyclopedia:QuickVFD in one click." It makes it a LOT easier to do it. Cheers! --EMC [TALK] 11:17 Mar 24 2010
